Akshara Nair
She just knew she had to get out of the tent, even if it meant breaking rules. What was she thinking? This could be an offense. But well, she can't sit around there when people are dying. She needs to keep doing her job. She could help in whichever way she could. If only these army men are that understanding?
It was easy to distract the lone soldier guarding them, Arjun has always been really good at that. This time also, he's managed to free them from the army's captive tent. The only worrisome thing is that the man himself went missing as they ran.
Where did he go? Akshara begins to regret the decision now. Maybe, that man Shiva was right. They are safe in the tent than out here on the battlefield. Night has fallen and everything is pitch dark. The chaos did seem to die down but she doesn't know where she is anymore.
There's no one around, maybe she's really far from the campsite. All she can see is endless black, the shadows of the trees that eerily shifted shapes.
"Damn..."
She curses as she trudges forward into the woods. This does seem to be a safe site, a reserved forest area, far from the salt marsh, where the army men camped. An area under the BSF is safe right? Can she turn around and find her way back?
What's she supposed to do?
She smells burning firewood. Someone is close. She lets her other senses do the directioning as the visibility is poor.
And she does reach someone's camp. To her horror, the men gathered around the small fire weren't army men!! Sure they still dressed in BSF personnel clothes but something is off about them.
