Akaashi's POV

"Akaashi, you're bleeding!!"

Shirofuku gasps as she grab white gauze and ointment. Coach Yamiji raised his eyes from Bokuto to me as Bokuto stared wide-eyed at my right hand. I raised it up for everyone to see. The nails on my ring and middle finger is bleeding as the blood drips down to my palm. It hurts a little as I stared at it in amazement. After hitting my hands for the whole entire set. After setting for the entire set. Just one set alone can injure my fingers.

I furrowed my eyebrows as I looked up at Coach Yamiji who directed Shirofuku to take me to the medical room. I stared at him in disbelief.

"We have to make sure you can play after you get that checked out." Coach Yamiji insists as he calls Anahori, the 1st year Setter who gets patted on the shoulder by Bokuto-san.

I sighed as I lowered my gaze and head. "Sumimasen."

"Don't stress it, Akaashi." Bokuto beams at me and I just can't understand why. "We will hold down the fort for you."

The other guys sweat drops and questions where this was going. You suddenly came out of your almost slump??? Better not lit up during this set. They look at Akaashi who got their message. Better hurry up and go. I nod before bowing to Coach then turning around and followed Shirofuku, holding my right hand close to me. Passing the cheering squad with an emotionless face. I should be back at the end of the 2nd set.

I heard some of my classmates murmur as I exited out of the gym.

Kiyoomi's POV

"Fukurodani's Setter is injured." Iizuna-san murmurs, watching him exiting the gym. I blinked and continued to wipe my face.

"You really had to do that?" Komori questions as I raised an eyebrow.

"Do what?"

"All your spikes was hitting off of Akaashi's hands." Komori explained, I felt a sense of pity in his tone.

"His teammates were able to pick some up." Iizuna chimes in.

"A point's a point." My Middle Blocker senpai sneers as I blinked and looked to see where Miyuki is. She isn't here? Don't tell me she went after him. Did she? Please no. My mind was somewhere else but Iizuna snapped me out of it.

"Now that their Setter is gone, let's keep this up. Their Setter wasn't prepared to handle being targeted by the spikes, he seem to be lacking in power. Although he has strong hands when it comes to setting." Iizuna asserts. I hummed loudly, knowing full well that Iizuna-san understands my intention.

"I hate nothing more than people who're unprepared. He should've did something to stop me from targeting his hands. I still...won't say 'you poor thing'."

The whistle blows as we head onto the court. Just 2 more sets until I go back to Miyuki. She better not have gone after him. Or I'll destroy this 1st year-looking Setter as well.

Miyuki's POV

"Thank you, for the ice packs." I bowed to the athletic trainer who nods in response.

"Would you like some gauze for the court burn?" I shook my head but thanked her. The door opens to reveal......

"Keiji-kun?" He stared at me wide-eyed before sitting down as the Athletic Trainer instinctively rushed over and examine his wound. His manager came in and told the story. I listened and wonder why did Kiyoomi did that. I furrowed my eyebrows and think for a minute until Shizuka comes in with crutches that she just received. The Athletic Trainer directed her to sit on one of the beds.
