Aizawa woke up to someone's arms tightly wrapped around his chest, their head hidden in the crock of his neck. It didn't take him long to remember the events from the previous night, his stomach dropping at the image of Tommy breaking down in his arms that burnt deep down in his head only to never be forgotten. And despite his body screaming for a mug of hot coffee to fully wake himself up, he pushed the need away as he focused on the kid in his arms. He did promised him he wouldn't leave till he would be awake, so he did just that. He moved his neck to the side, gladly hearing the satisfying crack before relaxing against the bed frame. The soft pillow swallowed his shoulders, comfortable feeling taking over as he tried to fight off the urge to close his eyes and take a nap. He just laid there with his head against the metal frame, arms still holding the smaller figure close to his own body and ruffling him hair carefully to not wake him up.
It took him by surprise when a blue wing dropped over him, soft feathers touching his skin softly. Tommy shifted in his sleep a little, only to drag the wing more over Aizawa and successfully cover his whole chest. Now being fully trapped by the warm and soft wing, Aizawa couldn't help but run his finger along the blue feathers. And as much as he tried to hide it, seeing the small smile on Tommy's face actually melted his cold heart a little. Small chirp echoed through the room catching Aizawa off guard, his hand stopping it's movements as he tried to figure out if he heard it right.

"Oi, who said you can stop?" Tommy mumbled, scoff visible on his face as he opened his eyes a little.

Aizawa flicked his forehead, the small smile vanishing.

"Don't pretend to sleep next time, I would be already drinking my coffee if it wasn't for you" He said but still continued to run his hand through Tommy's feathers.

Tommy smirked, eyeing the man before closing his eyes once again.

"No one told you to stay, you could leave and forget about me" he mumbled, finding comfort in the soothing motion.

"After what happened yesterday? I rather not" Aizawa said as it was his turn to eye Tommy in questioning look.

Tommy visibly tensed up, eyes shooting open as he pulled away from Aizawa. He could only watch as the blue wings folded and rested on Tommy's back.

"It was just a nightmare, nothing much. Happens often anyway" the blond said, quickly changing the topic and forcing his feet on the cold floor.

He felt shivers down his spin when he felt how cold the flood was, before getting used to it and sparing Aizawa a glance, almost like he was asking if he was coming.

"It didn't look like nothing much, you literally had a panic attack. And trust me, I saw many things like this before. It's not healthy nor normal" Aizawa said, watching Tommy walk towards the closet he found in his room.

Tommy rolled his eyes, pulling out a random hoodie from the closet and throwing it next to Aizawa.

"It's none of your business anyway, why do you care?" Tommy asked, looking at Aizawa over his shoulder.

"You're currently under my protection, which means I'm your guardian as for this moment. I need to know if something is going on so I can help and make sure you're okay" Aizawa explained, standing up and walking towards the doors that lead to the hallway.

"Yeah and I'm a fucking princess" Tommy said, closing the doors to his closet harshly with a glare at Aizawa. "I heard this bullshit many times before and I'm not going to get manipulated into thinking that someone cares again"

Aziawa stopped suddenly, a low sight leaving his lips as he shook his head.

"We do really care and I can assure you that nothing bad will happen to you as long as you stay away from any troubles and villains" Aizawa said, opening the doors and holding the knob tightly. "You won't have to worry about being manipulated ever again. Not on my watch"
