After being chased around the house by a freaking scar that was way too long, Tommy felt his legs aching and lungs burning from the exercise. Despite having wings and the ability to fly freely, Aizawa made it clear the very first day that he didn't want to see him flying in the house, which was offending in Tommy's opinion. I mean, he had wings for a reason and he was born to do this and by banning him from it, he was like a bird locked in a cage.
Don't get him wrong, he understood it and wasn't mad at his guardian from preventing him from doing it. However, back in exile there was the same thing. Dream, in order to make sure Tommy wouldn't try to escape or have an advantage, clipped his wings and made sure he wouldn't be able to use them. Hence why he didn't usually let anyone touch his wings, in fear of them being clipped again. Wing clipping was a way of trimming a bird's primary wing feathers or remiges so that they aren't capable to fly. That was, until they shed the cut feathers and grow new ones. It was never painful, never being clipped longer than needed, so no harm would be brought to the bird. And even if Dream did just that, stopping right below the spot that would hurt, it was never enjoyable. He felt uncomfortable, tied to the ground without any feeling of freedom. He was caged for a long, long time. No feeling of wind ruffling his feathers, no way of puffing his wings up when in danger and no way of covering himself.
Each hybrids had a different ability or special traits and taking one away from them never did any good. Especially not to Tommy. And when he was in exile, everything seemed tempting to just jump so he could feel the wind once again. But that time it wouldn't end with an breathtaking stop or a flip. He would simply hit the ground and be squashed like a bug.

And when Aizawa told him to not fly in the house, Tommy never disobeyed. He never said anything, never protested and simply agreed. Because if he disobeyed Dream, that meant punishments. And punishments were never pretty, they were brutal and cruel and heartless. No matter how many times he plead, how loud he would scream and beg, it never stopped. He was trained to behave, like a puppy. He was Dream's. And Dream didn't like when someone disobeyed.
And anyways, he still had the garden that he could use as much as he would like. Without destroying anything, of course. No problem, he could survive.

And now he just sat on the ground, hand resting on his chest as he tried to chase away the pain in his lungs and breath properly. Aizawa meanwhile stood with his hands on his hips, smirk so wide like never before. He was mocking Tommy.

"I might be old but you still can't outrun me" he said, at which Tommy weakly looked up at him with pain written all over his face.

Instead of answering tho, his body became limp as he fell to his side in silence. Only a small groan of pain managed to escape his parted lips as he laid lifelessly, staring at nothing with his lazily opened eyes.

"Kid's this days.." Aizawa though to himself, reaching over to grab his phone and turn his attention away from the teen who was still on the ground.

Tommy just continued to stare at the empty space in front of him, before eventually allowing his eyes to trail up and onto the black haired pro hero. His expression was... not there. He probably looked like he was possessed or some shit and he really didn't care, he was too busy looking at someone.

...

Okay, maybe not looking but trying to get him to feel bad.. and failing unfortunately.
Either Aizawa didn't feel his eyes on him or felt but didn't care. Either way, Tommy gave up and rolled into his stomach so he could hide his face in the soft carpet under him. Maybe he was acting childish, but he never got to do it so why not take the occasion. He was always good at pretending, the best of them all. After all, he was a big man and he knew everything.

"Are you just gonna lie there or get up?" Aizawa's voice rang out "You looked like someone ran you over"

"I was beaten up to a pulp by an old man with a scarf. Sounds like a good topic for a conversation, doesn't it?" Tommy mumbled, sending him an offended look.
