Sorry if Tsuragamae seemed to be OOC, but I don't write about him a lot and I don't know how he would act in certain scenarios. Forgive me pls.

The silence over the phone was unsettling, to say the least. It wasn't that long after their last meeting, a few days at most but Tsuragamae couldn't help but feel like something was wrong. Perhaps he had no reason to worry, maybe the detective was so focused on his job that he didn't even notice that his phone was ringing for the past hour. It was impossible, especially since he always had his phone with him and almost never silenced it so it was fair that he began to worry when he still got no answer. Not even a text.

The chief of the Police Force began to suspect things not long after the first call send him to a voicemail, leaving a heavy lump of uncertainty behind. From that moment, things only continued to go downhill.
Usually he would send someone to the last location where he was supposed to be and check things out but almost everyone were busy with other cases or incidents. That meant he was the only one avaible so he took it upon himself to drive to Aizawa's house and check up on his friend. After all, he was supposed to be there looking for clues and anything that could help to solve the case. Taking a few things and everything that he could possibly need (including a first aid kit because it's better to be safe than sorry), he set off and went straight for the address that Aizawa has left him.

The way there took him some time, more than he would like to admit but eventually the familiar house appeared in his vision. Pulling over to the driveway, Tsuragamae exited the car and glacedt at the space in front of it. No signs of any suspicious activity as far as he was concerned so he was free to walk up to the front doors and knock. He gave it a few moments, wanting to see if Tsukauchi would open it or not. When no one answered and he heard no noise that would imply that someone was indeed inside, a wave of concern hit him. Slowly, he pushed the door open and stepped inside, eyes scanning the hallway that he found himself in. Empty, just like he suspected.
With his weapon raised, Tsuragamae cautiously made his way down the hall, watching his every step and keeping his pace steady but careful. It was so quiet it was unsettling. Even the cat that Aizawa has adopted some time ago was silent, almost as if it wasn't there in the first place. Not a single sound, no squawking from the crow's, no meowing from the cat and not a single word from the detective. If he wasn't concerned enough before, then he surely was now.

It was almost as if the house was abandoned years ago, not a single alive thing lurking somewhere in the shadows. Making his way further inside the house, it only proved him right and he wasn't sure if he should be happy or not. There was a chance that Tsukauchi simply fell asleep or zoned out, but it was unlikely. It wasn't like him at all.
The stairs at the end of the hall welcomed him with open arms, leading up and towards the rest of the rooms. He stopped for a moment, glancing up and at the first door that he could see. They were slightly pushed open, light slipping from the crack and tracing the floor. That was the only sign that Tsukauchi was still in the house and in that exact room. The rest was locked, silent and dark.

"Tsukauchi?" Tsuragamae called out, keeping his voice low to not spook the man.

Silence was the only thing he heard, or rather didn't. Using the front of his boot, the chief pushed the door further open and raised his hands, the weapon aimed and ready to fire.
The first thing he saw were hundred of crows, all lying on the floor, their eyes dull and beaks opened in silent screams. His body froze at the sight, ears twitching from the shock that shot through his body. All of them were slaughtered by an invisible force that left no traces behind. It looked like they were stranded by something yet there were no marks that would confirm his thoughts.

"Oh, poor birds.." he said softly, wincing at the sight.

Tommy was going to be heartbroken.

Slowly, he pushed the door opened just a little bit wider, his eyes tracing the room only to find more and more dead crows. The smell was strong, too. It made him sick to his stomach and his head spinned uncontrollably.

"Tsu-"

As he looked deeper into the room, his eyes settled on a bigger figure that was lying on the floor face first, lifeless. Maybe it was too much of a shock for him, or maybe he was too scared to see something he wished he never did. His body went stiff, the weapon suddenly feeling heavy as it fell to the ground with a loud thud. He ignored it, despite his mind screaming at him to pick it up instead of leaving it unsupervised.
Still, he had to check and make sure his worst theory turned out to be real.
With small steps, Tsuragamae made his way closer to the lying man and knelt down, hands shaking as they slipped under his chest and slowly pulled up and into his back. He couldn't help but grimace when he noticed the pale skin, small red scratches on the face and closed eyes. With a shaking hand, he moved his hand down and pressed it against the detective's neck, looking for a pulse.

"Come on, you can't be dead" The chief grunted, struggling to find the right spot because of his shaking.

His heart started to beat faster, eyes stinging more the longer he stared at the body. Finally, after what seemed like the eternity, his fingers found the right spot and pressed against it tightly, looking for any movement. His eyes moved to the man's chest, lingering there for a moment.

It was like an electrcity hit him, like a God stood before him. A faint pulse, beating against his fimmshaiing fingers. A sound of relief escaped his lips, body relaxing slightly and his head falling to rest against the man's chest.

"Thanks All Might you are alive." He chuckled to himself, slowly raising to sit on his knees, leaving knew hand to clutch onto Tsukauchi's limp one. "You're gonna be alright, detective. We will call the medics and they will take care of you"

As he picked up his phone to call for help, he failed to notice the faintest blur of green light emerging from Tsukauchi's chest before disappearing into thin air.
He also failed to notice a pair of red eyes that watched them from the shadows silently, glowing softly.

The only thing he cared about the most was to make sure that the detective would get help as soon as possible and that he would live. He would ask questions later and he had a lot of them in his head.
It was only a piece of puzzle of the whole picture they had to put together.
