Back to school...yay.

Ugh!

Walking into school this morning, everything just felt off.

Jade and Jules have been super depressed since Damien and Torrin are now living 2 hours away from us.

Alyssa claims that she's fine but I know deep down she misses Cole.

I'm fine.

Everything is okay.

I don't miss Lennox and his perfectly styled hair and the stupid nerdy jokes he makes during class.

I'm totally fine.

Truth is, I haven't spoken to him since the morning after the party.

The last time we talked, it didn't really end well.

"Stupid fucking cap!" I mutter.

Why the fuck do they have to seal caps so tightly!

"Need any help red?" Someone asks, causing me to jump.

I turn around and see a shirtless Lennox in all his glory.

"No."

"Fine with me, I enjoy watching you struggle." He shrugs before walking into the pantry.

Dickhead.

I continue struggling with the cap and cursing at it in my head while Lennox returns with a bag of chips.

"You sure you can do it?" He asks again.

"I'M FINE!" I snap before dropping the stupid bottle onto the counter and groaning.

I feel him walk up behind me, grab the bottle, and easily unscrews the cap before placing it back on the counter.

"Thanks," I mutter as I grab my drink but before I could walk out of the kitchen, he blocks me.

"Talk to me red." He whispers.

"There's nothing to say."

"I know you hated seeing me with her as much as I hated seeing you with him."

"I was fine." I shrug as I try to walk past him but he grabs my arm and pulls me back.

"Bullshit Nova! Stop denying all of this!" He snaps.

"You have no fucking right to be mad at me when you're the one who did this to us!" I yell and he remains quiet.

"I never wanted to hurt you, Nova. You have no idea how much I regret making that fucking deal with my dad."
