"Party is over! Everyone get the fuck out!" Torrin yells into the microphone.
His usual smiley self is now covered up by a pissed-off version of himself.
Everyone mumbles things to themselves and his brothers seem confused.
People start to leave and just before I could join them, a hand grabs my wrist.
"We all are gonna hang out if you want to join," Jules says with a small smile.
A smile that seems disingenuous.
But, I shake it off and take a seat with everyone else on the couch.
"Why did you end the party, Tori?" Damien asks with his arm around his girlfriend.
"It was getting way too crowded, plus I wanted to spend time with the people I actually trust before we're sent off again."
I feel a lump form in my throat but I just continue drinking my drink.
"Uhhh okay," Cole mumbles.
"You know, that was a pretty crazy game of truth or dare, right Ro?" She asks me, causing all eyes to land on me.
"Uh yeah...pretty crazy."
"Okay, what the fuck am I missing?" Nova asks.
"Nothing, nothing I just thought it was interesting how Chloe brought up the fact that someone burned down the church after every single news outlet including my father said that it was faulty wiring." Torrin shrugs.
"Yeah, now that I think about it, the only people who knew the church was burnt down are the Bishops, Ash, and us girls," Julie says.
And once again, all eyes are on me.
"Actually Jules, you know who else could have known, the person who burned the church down."
"Okay, now I'm really confused." Jade mumbles.
"I was curious about why Chloe would bring up something like that, so I asked her about it...turns out she knew a lot more than we think," Torrin says before glaring at me.
Oh shit.
"Uh right well, I think I'm gonna go-"
"Sit the fuck down Rowan," Julie says.
"Wait wait wait- are you saying Rowan burned down the church?" Lennox asks.
"That's exactly what I'm saying, big brother," Torrin smirks.
Everyone gasps and I just sit there awkwardly.
"You see, Torrin and I happened to be at the right place at the right time...we heard Chloe talking to someone, that someone being the person who burned down the church. In all honesty, we probably would have ignored their conversation if the person wasn't an idiot and admitted that they burned down the church. So, I had Torrin ask Chloe since she has a crush on him and she had no problem telling him who it was." Jules says.
