"Angel, I think it's time to go to bed," Torrin says as he massages my shoulders.
"Just one more sentence!"
"You've been saying that for the past hour." He chuckles.
"Okay okay, I'm done," I say as I finally shut my laptop.
"Yay! Now you can give me, your loving husband, all your attention." He smirks as he bends down and carries me into his arms.
"Wait! Let's check on the kids." I say as he puts me down.
We first walked over to our oldest son Hudson's room.
Hudson is literally a mini Torrin.
They're both constantly energetic and they both love playing basketball.
We walk in and find him fast asleep with his feet on his pillow and his body halfway falling off the mattress.
"He sleeps like you too." I tease.
Torrin chuckles as he walks over to Hudson and fixes his position.
I take the time to walk across the hall to our daughter's room.
Mila is just like me.
She's very calm and loves the color pink.
She's our little princess.
When I walk in, I'm shocked to find her wide awake with her blanket pulled up high enough to cover half her face.
"Mila? Baby, why are you awake?" I ask.
She quickly looks up and my heart breaks when I realize she's been crying.
"I-I had a bad dream mommy!" She wails.
I quickly walk over to her bed and take a seat.
She crawls out from under the covers and into my lap.
Torrin walks into the room a few seconds later.
"Mila? What's wrong princess?" He asks.
Mila wipes away her tears before crawling onto her dad's lap.
She's such a daddy's girl it's adorable.
She sniffles while gripping her dad's shirt and Torrin wipes the rest of her tears away.
"What happened baby?" I ask.
"H-Huddy wanted to show me a movie called C-Chucky..."
Oh for the love of God!
I look at Torrin who sends me a guilty smile and I roll my eyes.
For some fucking reason our son is fearless so he and Torrin always watch all sorts of different horror and action movies together.
I keep telling Tori that it's not good for him but he won't listen.
And now Hudson showed Mila and she's scared shitless.
