Hoseok's POV -

The first thing I think when I wake up at my studio desk is that I don't remember falling asleep. I stare at my computer with blurry eyes, trying to remember what I was doing beforehand. After a quick glance at my clock, I note I haven't been asleep for very long.

Our new album drops in two weeks, and so our schedules are full from the minute we wake up to the moment we fall asleep. Obviously everything has been finished in terms of music - that was finished months ago, but we're still piecing together the last parts of the music videos, then there's the photoshoots we have to do, dance schedules, practice concerts, and meetings being held. On top of that, I have my own personal work to do, along with communication from different producers, brand deals, and keeping up with the fans. There's never enough time in the day to get everything done, therefore sleep gets cut to make sure everything is done.

This has been our routine for nearly 6 months now. Long time sleep deprivation can make you fall asleep at random times, but that's usually if I'm not doing anything. I'm a master at falling asleep on a 5 minute car ride, since you have to take what you can get, but never at my desk. Never when I'm working.

I try not to think about it too hard. Like I said, my body has been craving sleep for a while now, and I'm not getting any younger. A ten minute nap shouldn't knock me too far off kilter. I give my eyes a rub, then get back to work.

I jolt awake to my studio door opening, and Yoongi walking in, carrying a folder. He appraises me as he shuts the door behind him, his mask below his chin. "Sorry, did I wake you?"

"Huh?" is all I manage to respond. I look at the time on my computer, but I don't remember what time it was when I dropped off. I rub my neck, though it's not stiff.

"You were sleeping." Yoongi pulls up a chair, and sits at my desk. "You look exhausted, Hob-ah. Maybe take the rest of the day off?"

"It's fine," I brush off, stretching my arms. I finally feel a bit more awake. "What's going on?"

Yoongi dumps the folder on my desk, and flicks through the first page. "Here's the new contract for the Rolex deal. They need permission from all of us to go ahead with it. You're gonna be the last to sign."

I flick through to the contract, but the block of words make my eyes fuzzy, so I pretend to read it for Yoongi's satisfaction. Then, I find my contract, and sign it. I trust it not to be dodgy if all of the other boys have signed it.

When I look back up, I notice Yoongi watching me carefully. "What?"

"It's not like you to fall asleep sitting at your desk. We've all napped here before, but not literally at your desk. Take a break if you need it, the world won't collapse if you do."

His offer is tempting, but I really do feel a little better this time, so I shake my head. "Microsleep. Had to be done."

Back at the dorm, I head straight for my bed. I left earlier than I usually do, but the tiredness is clawing at me, and I have to know my limits. Namjoon, Taehyung, and Seokjin are still at the main building, since Namjoon has more production work to do, and Taehyung and Seokjin agreed to take up more singing practice, though they really don't need it. They both picked up a chest infection two weeks ago, so I think they're just prepping themselves for the tough work ahead.

I push my bedroom door open a crack, peering around for Jimin. He's curled up in a tiny ball on his bed, his childhood teddy draped over his eyes. He doesn't disturb as the door clicks shut, so I tiptoe quietly to my bed, and settle in, throwing the covers over my body.
