Jimin's Memory Loss

(A continuation of Jimin's Head Injury)

Taehyung's POV -

It's been about three months since Jimin had that massive head injury, and things haven't been ... great. We were told he was going to make a full recovery, but I can tell you now he hasn't. As time goes on, it almost feels like his problems are getting worse.

For one, he always has a headache. Like, most days, he'll have a massive headache at some point. It stops him from dancing well, and sometimes he goes to bed at like, 5pm, just to relieve it. Once we start to tour again, I fear that this will end up stopping him from performing.

He's been to the doctors for it, and they gave him another brain scan, but nothing came back as unusual. They've given him strong pain medication, but they don't seem to work, and they make him feel all sick.

He also has bouts of confusion. They only last him a few minutes, but it's like he forgets where he is, and what he's doing, and he goes all panicky and upset. There's no soothing him when it happens. It's almost like he can see us, but is looking straight through us.

His attitude has changed a lot. He gets really bad mood swings, and will go from happy to sad in seconds. He lashes out sometimes, when he's feeling really angry, but there's never anything for him to be angry at. He's so irritable at times it's impossible to talk to him. Hoseok said he sometimes wakes up to Jimin crying, but, when he asks what's wrong, he shouts at him to go away.

I know it sounds like Jimin is causing a rift between us, but that's not the case. We still love him just as much as always. We're extremely worried about him. He refuses to go to the doctor, and says he's just fine, but these have never been issues before the head injury. I don't know if he feels the same way about us, since everything we do seems to annoy him.

Jimin doesn't know I know this, but Hoseok said he's had another seizure, too. He came into their room and found Jimin completely unconscious, and covered in drool. Hoseok managed to get him up, and was going to take him to hospital, but Jimin completely refused. He asked Hoseok to keep it between them, but secretly, we all know, so we can be on the lookout for him.

Hoseok said he didn't actually see him seizing, but, with the state he was in, he just knew. He eventually went to check the CCTV we have in the house, and, sure enough, Jimin had had a full blown seizure, though it didn't last too long.

His last problem has been memory loss. It hasn't been too bad. Almost unnoticeable, if you didn't know he'd had a head injury. You'll ask him to meet you somewhere, and he'll forget. He'll put something down somewhere, and then not remember. Even old memories, that mean a lot to us Bangtan boys, he seems to have forgotten a little. Instead of worrying about it, he just gets irritable. I have noticed that, over time, it seems to be getting worse.

"Hyung, have you seen my bracelet?" Jimin yells from the bathroom. We have an interview today, and I'm worried about Jimin. He seems okay so far, but I'm worried he'll get one of his headaches during the interview.

"I thought you left it in your bedroom?" Namjoon calls back, brushing the rest of his hair behind his ears. We're all crowding around mirrors to try and get ourselves ready, though we'll just get our makeup and hair done again before the interview.

Jimin comes wandering out from the dorms, having finally found the bracelet he was looking for. His hair is styled, and he looks ready, but there's some form of worry in his face. "Where are we going again?"
