Twenty minutes later, Marshall and I were pulling up once again to the same driveway of his. Marshall parked the car outside his mansion, knowing that we would have to head back off after making this brief stop.

I leaped out of the car in excitement as I raced to the front door. Marshall followed behind me, soon unlocking the door to his house. We were suddenly greeted with familiar faces, Hailie, Alaina, and Nate, in front of me. Marshall and I stepped into the house as Marshall closed the door behind us after, him now standing beside me a bit off. Courteously, he gave me this time to say bye to the guys by myself.

"I got your text," I spoke over to Hailie first in the front, letting her know. I turned, talking to the other two; them all together. "Of course I could never leave without saying my goodbyes first," I smiled heartily.

"You can't go, Sal. Stay another week," Hailie began off by strongly suggesting.

"I wish I could," I said downcasted at her.

"Forget home. We're not letting you go back," Alaina declared, after.

"Yep," Nate added, smirking. "You're stuck with us now."

I laughed heartily, looking at them happy; yet sad. I honestly wished it could be that way—even that easy of an option. Alaina brought up something. "Oh, Sal, you left your shopping bags from last night here. You wouldn't want to forget those."

"Oh, yeah," I began.

"Nate?" Alaina called him.

"What?" he said.

"Go fetch her bags," she continued. "Hailie and I brought them down from upstairs. They're in the living room."

"Why me?" Nate complained.

"Just go!"

Running off grumpily, Nate went and retrieved them for me. I just laughed lightly at their little scene. He handed them all to me once returning. "Thank you Nate," I told him kindheartedly.

"Yeah, whatever," he responded unaffected. He couldn't help but let out a chuckle at the end. "I'm just kidding, you're welcome."

I smiled back, continuing to speak to him. "Nate, I want to thank you for everything you've done. Coming to chat with me after spotting me sitting by myself at the park that one day, showing me the outside of this house, planning to surprise Marshall, I could just go on with things. You're the best."

I could see Nathan turn pink after me saying that. "Don't thank me. You're really the best one here. It's all been my pleasure," he chuckled. "I really hope you enjoyed your time here. I'm happy for you and my bro, too."

I smiled cheekily at him, Marshall as well doing the same. I remembered something. "Oh, how's Ashley been? The baby's due date is soon, isn't it? Did you say it was next week?"

Nate nodded his head, smiling. "Next Thursday, April 3rd. Ash's been well," he told me.

"Good luck," I wished him once more. "Oh, and did you ever come up with the name? Is he going to be a little Nathan Jr.?" I giggled.

Nate sighed, smirking. "Probably not. Ashley's been changing her mind even weeks before about the name. It was going to be Carter but she's thinking it sounds weird, so we go with either Landon or Liam," he explained. "We're still deciding."

"You know," I began, "I actually really like the name Liam. I think it's an all around beautiful boy's name," I confirmed, smiling.

The other three agreed with me. Nathan smiled at us all, speaking to me. "I believe so too. I'll let Ash know. Thank you, Sal."

"Of course," I said to him gratefully. I turned to the girls now. "Hailie, Alaina, thank you guys. The last few days have been incredibly fun. It's insane how much I enjoyed it."

Alaina came in, smiling. "It was all really fun. I agree, too. You're the coolest person ever."

Hailie spoke to me. "Yeah, I loved the last few days with you. It's the funnest I've had in forever. We're still keeping in touch," she made clear. She smiled at me gorgeously, then said something else. "It's a shame Whitney had to leave early."

"I know," I agreed. "But, it's okay; I have her number and all of yours. We'll keep in touch. I'll really miss you guys so much," I said lastly.

After that, I went and hugged each of them individually, very tightly, having trouble letting go. I nearly shed a tear. It had been an emotional moment. Marshall stood off to the side, feeling very much saddened for all of us. "Dad, you better send Sal a plane ticket to come see us in Michigan again soon," Hailie demanded at Marshall.

"Yeah, I know," he replied, that really turning out looking promising.

I smiled at the two of them, hopeful. I said my last final goodbyes as Marshall and I walked out of the house. Marshall even helped me with all my bags as we approached the car. The three of them were seen standing at the doorway, watching us still.

As I turned around to catch a glimpse of them, I felt sorrowful. I wished on everything that I would get a chance to be with them all again soon in the future.
