"Didi, yeh aapne kya pehena hai" (Elder sister, what are you wearing?) Dushala asks
"Kapde hain, Dushala. Tum bhi pehenti ho." (These are clothes, Dushala. Even you wear clothes.) So cheeky.
"Par Didi yeh-" (but, elder sister, this-) she begins again but Anan- Devi cuts her off. A little rude on her part.
"Main jo karti hun, uske liye yahih kapde pehente hai." (For what I do, you need to wear these kinds of clothes.) What does she do?
"kya karte ho aap?" (What do you do?) Dushala asks this. I was surprised, she normally doesn't speak much.
"Nishanebaji kehetein hai isse. Tirandazi ki hi tarah hota hai, bas ismein iska pryog hota hai." (It's called Shooting. Its' like Archery, just that shooting uses this) Ananya answers, showing thing in her hands.
"Aap kyun chalti ho yeh?" (Why do you use it?) Dushala asks her.
"Kyunki mujhe aata hai aur chlana achcha lagta hai." (Because I know how to do it and I know how to use it.) Ananya says as she whorls around firing again, again at the boards in front of her.
She is enjoying it; I realize with a start. Then also, it felt strange to hear a girl enjoy this kind of thing. I mean at the end of the day it is a sort of weapon, right?
"Iska kya fayda? Bache ko Tir Dhanush se nahi khelne ke liye, yeh pakda diya hai." (What is it's point? So, that a child doesn't play with bow and arrows, they have handed them this.) Prince Duryodhana says. I look at him in surprise, so does Ashwatthama; looks like Shakuni Mama has reached him again. I am fed up of this man, what does he think of himself? I swear I will kill that man, one day.
Ananya whorled around both of her guns pointed at the Prince, "Kya aap yeh Jante hai, Rajkumar, ki is mein se koi ek bhi aap ko kahin, galti se bhi lag Gaye toh aap apna jaan kho bet henge." (Do you know, prince, that even of one of these hits you, even if by mistake, you will lose your life?)
