I winked at Karn before walking out of the room, I didn't miss his look of surprise before the gate shut back.
Karn.
My Husband.
My Arya.
My Love.
Haye! I am married to someone and happy. I love that dude; he loves me and we will be happy. That is what I think. After all I am Mahabharat time period and various things are about to happen.
But then I wonder if it will actually happen. I mean, Duryodhana is on our side, right? Will still Shakuni be able to convince somebody else to harm the Pandeva's? Who will that guy be? How will we defeat him?
"Putri?" (Daughter.) a voice breaks me from my thoughts and I realize that I have reached ma's room.
"Ma, Pranam." (Mom, Bless me.) I bend to touch her feet. Before turning to the other lady in the room. "Pranam Chachi." (Bless me Chachi)
"Akhand Saubhagyavati Bhava, Putri." (May you always have a happy married life) Both the lady blesses me. I smile at them.
"Kya Hua? Kuch chahiye tha?" (What happened? Did you need anything?) Ma asks.
I shake my head, before making them both sit on the bed. I sit near their feet, they look like they want to protest but I silent them as I place my head in their lap, mostly in ma's lap.
"Bas ma ka saya chahiye tha." (I just need the touch of a mom.) I mumble. I am sure they have heard. They run their hand on my head.
"Achcha Hua, yahan aagayi." (It was nice that you came here.) Chachi says and I smile.
"Aap log ke pass nahi toh kahan jati, chachi?" (If I didn't come to you guys, then where would I go, Chachi.) I ask.
"Kya bulaya Mujhe?" (What did you call me?) Chachi asks.
"Chachi. Kaliyuga Mein Kaki ko yeh hi bulatein hai." (Chachi. This what we call kaki in Kaliyuga.) I clarify.
