Bhanumati's POV

In Evening

 In Kalinga.

Elder brother smiles, when sister- in- law beside me chuckles teasing Suyo.
Is his name Suyo or do they call him that lovingly?

"Raj Kumari." (Princess) Elder brother bows before me a little. "Humare chhote se ghar mein rishta jodne ke liye Dhanyavad. Asha hai aapko humare biche wahi pyaar milega jo aapke Raj Mahal mein mila tha." (Thank you for joining our small family. I hope you get the same love you got in your palace.)

"Mujhe sharminda maat kijiye, aap humse baade hain. Mere samne jhukiye nahi." (Please do not make me feel ashamed, you are elder than me. Pleaase do not bow in for me.) I say as I bow my head in respect towards the elder.

He smiles at me, before looking at his wife. I could tell that they were talking via their eyes.
Oh! The feeling they must feel to have such bonds.

"Vivah kab hogi, Bhanumati?" (When will the wedding be, Bhanumati?) Sister- in- law asks me, turning to look away from Elder Brother.

"Aaj hi shubh din hai." (Today is the auspicious day.) I reply a little hesitant. Hoping I won't come off as some eager to marry girl in front pf them.

"Subh kam mein toh deri nahi honi chahhiye." (Good things must not be averted to another day.) Elder Brother says. "Hume aaj shaadi karwane mein koi aapati nahi hai, Bhanumati. Aapke pariwar ki ikcha. Hum taiyaar hain." (We have no problem in holding the wedding today. It depends on your family's wishes. We are ready.)

-- Time Skip --

I was getting married finally.
