Chapter146: Hopelessness

It seems like the road was stretching, as they went farther and father down the road and out of the city. Lloyd felt tears go down his face, he had lost her, he lost his true love, there wasn't anything he could do about it, he was powerless against zephyr.

As he drove in his car, the buttons, and controls were glowing In moonlight. Lloyd tried focusing on the road but he felt so shaky, there wasn't many people in the resistance left, there was only seven of them now, and they were very small in numbers.

Lloyd let out a shaky sigh, as he looked down at the chopsticks in his hand. It was the last, and only thing he had of his Yang. He clenched his fist in anger, he was so mad at zephyr, he was mad at himself for not Believing harumi, and preventing all of this.

In his rear-view mirror that showed behind him, he saw his father was looking out the window, as if he was trying to rationalize all that happened, or hoping it was all a dream,Lloyd couldn't blame him he wished this was a dream as well, he missed her.

He saw Cloud, looked absolutely devastated, she was laying on the seat on Mistaké's Lap, as the woman was petting her, but it didn't seem to work, nothing could cheer her up, the puppy Missed Harumi and they all knew she wasn't coming back. Everyone was slient not wanting to accept the reality they now sadly lived in.

Lloyd sighed, as he looked at his father through the rearview mirror, as he tried not to let out shaky breaths. "Where do we go?" He asked, breaking the silence making everyone in the car do a double take not expecting him to speak after everything.

"What?" The oni lord asked, hearing him speak after what felt like hours of just silence. "Where do we Go?" He asked again, he paused then continued. "Almost all of our family is gone, We don't know if any of our allies Are still on our side" he said as he started to go on a tangent, making the group blink and then all went slient.

Cloud speaks up, as she stands up on the seat. She knew Lloyd was correct, She knew Lloyd was correct, Half of their family was gone, Harumi was dead, because of zephyr. They didn't know what Happened, to their allies, they Basically had no plan.

Nix sighed, as he looked at Cloud. "There's nothing we can do" he says as walked over, and sat next to the Pomeranian pup. Cloud hearing that went red with rage. "Nix! There's always something we can do! This isn't over we have to take back the city!"

Nix always put up with cloud being persistence, but with everything that happened he hits couldn't deal with it anymore. "Enough! Cloud enough!" He yelled making the puppy stood still, as Nix stood on his hind legs as he also barred his teeth at her.

"Cloud! We Lost Okay!?" He yelled. "We lost, Harumi Is dead, half of the family is turned evil. We don't know Where Skylor, Killow,Uv, or Mr.E is! We had to flee It's over okay! Zephyr won! We lost it's over!" He told her. Her ears started to go down, she also looked down at her paws in sadness, she looked like she was gonna cry.

Coming down from his anger, Nix felt bad for blowing up at Poor cloud, she was going through a lot, So much has happened, To top it all off She lost her owner, and he just Blew up at her like a jerk. Nix walked over to cloud, and nuzzled her head.

At first cloud didn't make any attempt to talk, she just looked away, and Nix sighed as he licked her cheek. "Cloud, I'm sorry I didn't mean to Blow up I j—" nix started to say, as cloud shook her head. "No your right, Nix Zephyr took over the city, we are down in numbers, and It's my fault that I didn't listen to harumi, and now she's dead".

Lloyd shakes his head. "Cloud, it isn't All your fault! Don't think that way" The blonde haired boy tells her. But Cloud shakes her head, "But if I just would've listened maybe she would still be alive, and we would have a chance against Zephyr!" She tells him.

Mistaké shakes her head, "Young cloud. It wasn't her fault, her life was cute short, and It isn't Your fault of her death!" She tells her as the puppy looked up at the Old women. "It's zephyr's fault! I promise cloud we will find a way one day, to defeat him and take back the city" she paused. "It's what Harumi would've wanted" she tells her.

They all nodded in agreement. Lloyd nods as he looked at everyone. "We will make sure Harumis death wasn't in vain! We will make sure we will avenge her, and Make zephyr pay" he says, cloud seems to Perk up at the plan they were forming right now.

Cloud Smiled. "I will miss her, but I at least I know she's with her parents, and I just hope she's happy" Lloyd smiled, he nodded. "I'm sure she is cloud, I'm so sure, and I know she looking down at us, and she is now always gonna be watching over us".

They all smiled at that, and all agreed that their family member was now happy, in the departed realm, and was happy with her parents. Cloud walked and then called up to Lloyd. "So where are we gonna do? Do you guys have like a safe house or something like that?" She asked, as Lloyd looked like he was contemplating.

He looked at the group, and the grabbed his Communicator, and then relayed a message to Opal, and Mirage. "I know a place we can go, but I don't think they'll be happy, or at least, she won't be happy" he says, as he looked at the rear-view mirror.

The two pups, looked at each other, before cloud speaks: "So we going to Aunt Josephine's house?"

Hello hello Everyone! Jdizzle here I hoped you enjoyed the chapter! I really enjoyed Writing the Semi fight scene between cloud and Nix, and Poor Cloud, I feel really bad for her. She is so young, and Now she's all alone, but luckily she has a family, who cares about her! Power of Family! They're strong people! Always believe in the power of family, it's stronger than you think ;) but Always Guys we are gonna take a little Break, to collect ideas and stuff, bc this Arc is gonna be epic!
