I was delighted to have my first fairy patient and I had such a good mood for the whole day because of it. I kept on singing while doing my job. Sometimes I checked on my fence, maybe there would be someone who needed me. Oh, no one? It's okay. I still had this good mood from Kyo approaching me to ask for my help. I felt valuable.

Still, I hoped that Kyo and whoever he liked would have this happy relationship, fingers crossed.

The next day, I didn't even have the optimistic thought of having another fairy patient. Yes, instead of having 'another fairy patient', I had two fairy patients on the same day. It was such a clear and sunny day, so I didn't think that I made myself an optical illusion.

I had two fairy patients on the same day.

I saw Olivier and Jin on the outside of my fence. She waved to me happily but my focus was on her hand. Her waving hand... reached Jin's height.

I'm sorry, Olivier. I couldn't help but see your height, I muttered while biting my lips.

I dashed to the gate as soon as I saw them waiting for me. Olivier's sparkling face made me conclude that she was feeling better... maybe.

"Did Reanne allow you to spend some time outside, Olivier?" I asked because I needed reassurance.

She nodded fastly.

"I'll come back and have some rest after pulling some grass," she grinned.

"Oh yes sure, please come in," I invited them both to the field.

With Olivier's eagle eyes, she managed to see the little grass she preyed on, and then she playfully approached the grass, leaving me with Jin on the different side.

"You don't pull the grass?" I jokingly questioned him.

"No," he answered with his eyes agglutinated on Olivier. "Let her enjoy the grass."

"That sounds so wrong, Jin..." I scolded him. He laughed a small one and folded his arms while his eyes were fixed on the small friend.

I observed Jin while he was in his own world. His long blonde tied hair sometimes covered his face but I could see his gaze clearly. This kind of gaze was no ordinary gaze. It seemed like he had this woman in his sight for some time but he couldn't help but hide his feeling. Also, he smiled.

Maybe.

"Why don't tell her your feeling?"

Jin was ultimately shocked with rather a comical expression.

"What??" he tried to make me repeat myself.

"I know you heard me," I rolled my eyes.

"How do you know???" he panicked.

"The suitable question is 'HOW COULDN'T ANYONE KNOW', Jin!" I almost yelled.

"SSSHHHH! SSSHHH!!" Jin warned me with his suppressed voice. "You could wake a lion up, you know!"

I shrugged; I didn't care if a lion was up. I cared if the lion tried to eat me alive.

"There's one person that doesn't know about this," he continued.

"Who? Who's in their right mind can't understand your gaze?" I felt challenged.

But my challenged feeling vanished as soon as Jin pointed his finger at the woman he put his sight on.

"She doesn't know it..." said Jin with his faint smile. "It's not like I'm being obvious. It's just because even me being obvious, she still can't see it."

Oh, dear... It was so hard to not show any sympathy for his case.

"Did she... reject you?" I cautiously interrogated.

"She rejected everyone," replied Jin. "She closed her heart from any kind of special interaction... so... yes. If there's anyone who loves her too, he would be damned too."

"Why...?"

"Wound? Her wound is way too deep," he explained. "Both her physical and mental are all ruined by those jerks."

I could see anger in his eyes as he clenched his teeth.

"Who...?"

"Those guys by the call 'ex'," Jin continued. "It would be fine if she was the one who dumped them, but it wasn't. They dumped her after cheating on her."

Now I felt sympathy for Olivier. That was maybe the reason why the others had been protecting her that much: it was because she had been wounded too deeply and she couldn't even prioritize herself.

"You can just hug her to make her feel better, right?"

I thought my suggestion was great, but Jin laughed at my joke as if it was a silly idea.

"I would hug her this instant if I could, Luna..." he explained his laugh. "But I respect her boundaries. She even won't allow any boys to touch her anymore. It's..."

I let Jin take a deep breath before continuing.

"... It's hard for me to hold myself..." Jin averted his gaze to the sky... for only 5 seconds then the eyes returned to the gaze's owner.

We looked at Olivier in silence. That small child was pulling the grass seriously even if it wasn't even her job. We also caught her talking to the animals and plants; sometimes she stumbled on some of the dirt and stood up again.

This loving naturalist was treated badly by Mawar. I felt guilty as a Charlonzi.

"What's up with that poor balance..." Jin whispered to himself as he chuckled at seeing Olivier stumbling.

This guy... was not kidding about his feelings.

"So, what's your plan now, Jin?" I asked just to fill the silence.

"If she ever mentioned even briefly one of his exes' names, I would come and kill him," Jin answered firmly.

"... Seriously?" I hesitated. It was a bit hard for me to understand the 'killing' joke because of what Aura did for me and Lance on the mountain.

"No, of course. I still want to live with Olivier, not 'with' jail," he giggled. "Well, at least I could make some bones break... for example."

Okay, now I knew that that one was real. There wasn't even a tiny bit of hesitation mirrored in his eyes. It was like he had fixed his mind and future for the woman who even couldn't see him.

"How about your ex, Jin?" I asked just to converse.

"My ex?" he repeated. I nodded.

"I won't let her be my ex."

"WHO JIN EX?" Olivier suddenly shouted while approaching us.

"You're done?" asked Jin, patting Olivier's head to divert her attention. Olivier nodded cheerfully.

I would continue the sentence, but I couldn't. Jin's very last sentence left me speechless and luckily Olivier was done with her grass-pulling and both of them had left me frozen on the farm.

Did he mean that he never dated before? And didn't even intend to make anyone else but Olivier as his partner?
