How can a human trust the monsters
That surround her?
Rejects, mysteries, spirits, unnatural
How did she accept these people?
Foes, to partners, to friends, to family
How can she love a monster feared by all?
Tall, faceless, terrifying and, powerful
And yet, she looked past the layers
Plastered by the world.
She needed more
She felt fear and curiosity
Everyday was a jumpscare
How did she not die from fright?
How did she not loose her sanity?
How did she do it?
They taught her how to be like them.
Placed a knife in her hand and pushed her forward.
The thrill she felt
The pain of guilt
"What have I become?"
Blood stained hands and a tainted heart.
So pure before
So damaged now
"I can't go back. I've committed to much"
Soon the pain of guilt numbed
The fear disappeared
She got up from her knees and stood tall
Head held high
"I won't be afraid anymore, you won't torture me no more, I won't torture myself anymore."
Slowly, she became on of them.
They slowed her morality
She's only aged a few age while her friends were on their death beds.
How old is she really?
It's a secret
She slowly fell in love
With the power he had
The fear she felt with him
The dangers that he carried
"You can kill me, you had many times
But you spared me. So I must mean something"
He hated her
Became soft for a simple mortal women.
But at the same time
He became stronger
A purpose in this new era
His family became stronger
A king can't rule without his queen
This was what he needed
"I love you"
Then a child was created
A mystery unsolved
Another secret she kept to herself
Traumatized with
Pain, images and the voices
But they became one
Physically
Emotionally
Spiritually
If one goes, the other follows
They became one

I don't know why it's written like this but I think it fits.
