Chapter 25

After some time looking through the mall. I just decided to make them a New Years dinner. And a little party.

"I'm gonna go to the bathroom." hoodie kept his head down heading towards the bathrooms.

"Ok. Tim and I will be in the cafeteria." I called out

He just nodded.

I looked at masky. I smiled and since they weren't wearing their masks. He smile back. I have to admit. I melted on the inside alittle.

"Well let's go to the cafeteria."

We walked beside each other. Really close. Our hands would brush against each other time to time. When that happened. I would blush alittle.

"Sit right here?...or no?" Masky asked.

"Right here's fine."

We sat down across each other. It's been awhile since we have been alone. It felt nice.

"Soo, masky. how are you?" I asked

"Right now...ner....uhh. Good. You?"

"Well, tired alittle. But fine in all."

I wanted to experiment masky alittle.

So I looked into his eyes. Until I got his full attention. Then I gave my cutest and friendliest smile. Still giving eye contact.

He was surprised at first. Then he smiled and quickly looked away. He was blushing!!! Adorable!!!

I just giggled and he chuckled alittle. He was looking down now.

Then Hoodie came.

"Hey."

"Hey hoodie"

He sat down and kept his head low. Wonder why?

"Well, there's nothing else to do. Let's get home." I got up and looked at masky and hoodie.

They nodded and followed me out.

I checked the time. 6:23. Not bad. But it will be late when we get back. Also will get in trouble for being home late.

"I think I should call my mom."

"Ok." Was all they said.

I dialled my mom's number and waited for her to pick up. I walked away alittle from the boys leaning against a tree talking quietly while glancing at me.

Something seemed off about masky. He was acting strange. Not like a bad strange. But a weird strange.

"Masky, what's up? Your acting...weird."

He looked at me then a glance at eternity who was walking away to take a call.

"N..nothing."

"Come on man. we are best friends. You could tell me anything. I promise I won't tell."

Masky took a deep breath then looked at me. Then back at his feet.

"I will...get in...trouble."

"I won't tell. Promise."

He took another deep breath and said something really quiet and fast.

"What? Say it again."

"O..ok. I...have a...a..."

"A? A what?" I asked.

"A crush on eternity!" He said fast and loud enough for me to hear it.

He covered his mouth and looked down.

"Ok. My father is coming. He's gonna teleport or something us home." Eternity said coming towards us.

My eyes were still on masky. A crush on eternity? Meaning he 'likes' eternity more than just friends?

"Me, you, talk later." Was all I said to masky.

He nodded slowly.

I looked towards eternity who looked comfused. And in a blink of an eye. We were home. Finally.

This is going to be an interesting night.
