Souma and Inuyasha bound through the villa gardens. The two easily hacking and slashing at any enemy yokai who dare enter their path. Inuyasha silently impressed at Souma's swordsmenship. Acknowledging he must have had proper training at a young age. "Yes, both my sister and I did. I chose the way of the samurai. Honor in killing. My sister...." Souma began before the two came to a pile of mutilated corpses. Their bodies marred with multiple cuts, limbs detached with great skill and precision. The blood soaking into the earth below dying it a sickly red.

"She's an assassin." Inuyasha clarifed observing the way the butchery had ended for these innocent souls. Their eyes wide in fear at their last moments of life. "Yes but, Hisuri has never been this...out of control." "Look kid from these corpses and that ugly wound of yours. I'd say shes capable of just about anything." Inuyasha commented. Angering Souma who demanded he not talk about his sister that way. "She isnt some mindless murderer! She is my sister!" Souma roared, his anger getting the best of him. As faint blue markings began to appear on his face. His demon blood raging at Inuyasha's words.

"She's the enemy now-" "And you dare to call yourself kin to our father?" Souma spat, his voice seething with rage. Though his comment made Inuyasha fall silent. Feeling a tinge bit of guilt for speaking ill of Hisuri. Souma was right. They were all family, and deserved to be treated as such. With the love of those related to them by blood. Something that had been missing from Inuyasha's life since he was a child. As back then Sesshomaru detested the very existence of Inuyasha. Stating that he would never truly be family. And yet the very same yokai had sucummbed to a human emotion. Love.

Somehow, and someway Sesshomaru had found a companion. Someone who truly valued and loved him despite his rough and cold exterior. Something that still Inuyasha struggled to come to terms with. Someone was brave enough to show Sesshomaru love. And not flee from his yokai tendencies. Perhaps a great change had come over the power hungry Daiyokai. Maybe he wished to raise his children the correct way. Allowing them to express themselves to all sides of the family and life. Truly becoming their own persons, to Sesshomaru joy. Whatever the case, a change had infact taken over Sesshomaru. Why before Inuyasha stood a prime example. His son, Souma. The young man was handsome, brave, though he was cautious. And seemed to care deeply for his family. A hint of gentleness surrounding the young man, hiding his demonic aura from sight for the time being.

A gentleness that not even an innocent human could compare to. For his gentleness was filled with an abundance of understanding and love. Unrivaled by any, yet there was another side to Souma. A more ruthless and cruel half of the man. The side of him which remained in the darkness, awaiting for his blood to boil. Triggered by anger, this half was abit of a loose canon. And something Souma struggled to deal with at the moment. His teeth clenched as slowly large canine's began to protrude from his jaws. His raven locks slowly beginning to fade away into a snow white hue, but was stopped by the sudden recollection of their purpose.

Saving Hisuri. An image of his sister's sweet face and smile appearing before him. A look of distress on her calm features. Tears of blood escaped the crevices of her eyes. Her hands extended out towards Souma, an attempt to plea for his help once more. Before being swallowed in the black flames. Gritting his teeth Souma allowed himself to calm down. His yokai features evident on his body, as sharp fangs and claws protruded from his gums and fingers. The blood of the "Daiyokai" ever present within him. Closing his eyes Souma concentrated on his purpose, saving his sister. As he always had when the two were growing up. Souma was always quick to protect Hisuri. Let it be a sparring match, a tongue lashing from father, or even a yokai. Souma would stand his ground, holding his sister protectively in his arms. All the while egging the perpetrators to try him, so he could show them how powerful they truly were. And why they should fear their very names.

Watching Souma from a comfortable distance, Inuyasha noticed the snow white hue begin to fade from his locks. Being replaced with its natural dark color. The blue markings which appeared on Souma's cheeks also faded away to nothing. Though the blue crescent moon on his forhead remained. Tucked away behind tuffs of raven locks which belonged to Souma. It was then that Souma opened his now calm amber orbs, now in full control of his blood. Souma bid Inuyasha to follow him stating "You don't know Hisuri like I do." Souma began as the two men walked through the burning debris of the forest. Soon coming to a clearing where the vegetation had just begun to blister under the intense heat.

A circle of black flames encasing two figures in the distance. One clearly a woman as she remained low to the ground. Agile, as a feline. Bounding left and right at an increasing pace. Her crimson gaze relentless, trained on her prey. Which appeared to be none other than Sesshomaru himself. His breathe heavily labored as he turned his gold gaze to his daughter. Her eyes unfocused, nothing but coldness in her gaze. With her left hand gripping onto one of her many katanas. Hisuri pressed the tip of her blade against Sesshomaru's throat. The proud Daiyokai staring at his daughter. Hurt apparent in his eyes as he could never bring himself to harm his little girl. Lowering his head to the ground, Hisuri dared to kneel before her father. Those red eyes if hers sending chills down Sesshomaru's spine. As a voice not belonging to his daughter spewed from her lips. The voice of someone Sesshomaru himself had dispatched long ago. "This time you will be the headless one." The woman's voice icy, filled with rage as Hisuri's blade begun to break the skin of Sesshomaru. Causing him to release a loud hiss.

"Stop this Hisuri!" Sesshomaru barked, his words triggering something within Hisuri. As her grip on her katana weakening in her now trembling grip. Noticing this Souma and Inuyasha made their way through the circle of flames. Souma Immedistly rushing to his father's side, caring for his injuries. But Sesshomaru attention was now Inuyasha. Who stood before him, Tetsaiga in hand. Ready to defend Sesshomaru and himself if he must.

"Don't you harm her you mongrel-!" Sesshomaru barked annoying Inuyasha who retorted "Worry about yourself, we've got a bigger problem on our hands." Inuyasha informed as the image of none other than Naraku. Made himself known. Appearing from the shadows behind Hisuri, the yokai placed his large cold hands on both her shoulders. Startling Hisuri as his negativity began to overwhelm her senses once more. "Kill them. Kill Inuyasha." Naraku ordered, earning an angry glare from Inuyasha. Before in a blink of an eye Hisuri appeared before Inuyasha, her right hand overcome by a sickly green aura. From which she stabbed Inuyasha through the stomach with. The aura burning away both flesh and bone in its wake. A blood curdling scream erupting from Inuyasha's lips.

Angrily Inuyasha pushed Hisuri from him, her hand leaving a gaping hole in his stomach. Which continued to ooze that green poison of hers. A trick learned by her father. His poison claws were always very effective in battle with Inuyasha. And today was no different. Gripping onto his wound Inuyasha was forced to his knees. His blood oozing around his body, as Inuyasha attempted to rise. Still prepared to fight despite his injuries. But Inuyasha was stopped by Souma, who stood before his sister. Sorrow in his amber gaze, as Souma slowly drew if fairly slim katana. Getting into his fighting stance Souma lowered his gaze at his sister. Knowing in order to free her, he would have to fight.
