It was in the middle of August when Ellie found herself struggling to fall asleep. She would toss and turn if she could, for there was hardly enough space for her to even lay on her back. Shaking her brother to wake, she mumbled tiredly, "Harry, I think we're getting too big for this bed."

"Toss me the blanket, I'll sleep on the floor," said Harry groggily as he sat up from the uncomfortable position he was in. Ellie was right, they were too big to share the bed, and Snape would be nice to him before he let Ellie take the floor. Ellie tossed him the blanket from the end of the bed much too enthusiastically, causing the still half asleep Harry to mumble some profanities under his breath before setting on his makeshift bed on the floor.

"Get some sleep, might be the last good one we'll have before that dreadful woman comes."

Harry was damn right when he told his sister about the lack of sleep that came along with the dreadful woman they had to call Aunt Marge. She was nothing but a nightmare, ordering the Potters around like they were slaves, sending them disgusted look as if they were dirt on her shoes, talking badly about their parents. The latter was when Harry had finally lost it. It was only the third night Aunt Marge spent at Privet Drive when her big fat mouth got the better of her, and the infamous Evan's temper got the better of Harry. Ellie was preparing the dessert whilst Harry was cleaning the dishes when Aunt Marge had decided it was a very wise choice to insult James Potter in front of the Potter children, which clearly hit Harry's nerve. He accidentally made the wine glass that she was holding to break, but being slightly drunk, she thought it was because of her firm grip.

"Harry, calm down," Ellie whispered to her brother as her Aunt carry on the conversation. Harry was getting more furious by the second. There sat the foul woman insulting his father, and the Dursleys seemed to enjoy every moment of it.

"She's calling dad a drunk!" he hissed to Ellie angrily. Ellie then threw the oven glove she was holding just as angrily. "Don't you dare take it out on me, you toe-rag. He's my dad as much as he's yours! Do you think I don't want to blast her fat arse off? Do you think I'm not holding back several curses ri-"

"-if there's something wrong with the bitch, then something's wrong with the pup. But good riddance with her, huh? Drunk driving, should've known-"

"That's a lie!" Harry exclaimed with full hatred, scaring the hell out of Ellie. In all the twelve years she had known her, never had she ever seen her brother this angry, and terrifying wasn't enough to describe how he looked. Then all of the sudden, the lights in the kitchen began to flicker. Ellie grasped Harry's wrist tightly, knowing it was his doing, intentionally or not. But being angered to the of his hair, Harry didn't even noticed his sister's touch. Instead, he kept on glaring at his aunt, and slowly but surely the woman began to inflate like a balloon, before she finally float out of the backdoor, causing the Uncle Vernon and Aunt Petunia to chase after her into their backyard frantically. Ellie's eyes widened when she realised just how much trouble they would be in, so she wasted no time in dragging Harry up to their bedroom. Once she slammed the door shut, Harry began throwing things into his school trunk.

"Harry?"

"Pack your trunk, we're leaving," he said without even looking at her. She knew better than to pester him at the moment, and knowing the Dursleys, leaving might be a better option then waiting for the punishment they would surely get. She threw her schoolbooks and robes into her trunk, along with several other clothing articles and her Nimbus 2001. Quickly changing out of the god-forsaken dress she was forced to wear and into a pair of jeans and t-shirt, she put on her hoodie and made sure to put her wand in its pocket. Harry then dragged her down the stairs only to be stopped by a furious Uncle Vernon. "You bring her back right now!"
