"You what?!" shouted the three Gryffindors in front of her. Ellie barely made it to the portrait of the fat lady when she was lifted off of the ground by the Weasley twins. They practically kidnapped her into the Gryffindor tower, but she didn't mind since she needed to talk to her brother anyway. When she told them her plan for Christmas, it was safe to say that none of them took it lightly.

"Oh, don't be so bloody dramatic, Harry," said Ellie with a roll of her eyes. The twins snickered when they realised just how much she had the boy who lived under her fingers, that was before she turned to them and gave them a death glare, "You too, boys. It's just for a couple of weeks. It's not like they'll torture me to death there."

Harry had a mindful of things he would like to say to his sister of why she shouldn't go to the Malfoys, but seeing how her face lit up when she told him her plan, he couldn't bare to voice it, though that didn't mean that he wasn't reluctant about it. Not wanting to say the wrong things that would hurt her, he abruptly left her and the Weasley twins as he ascend the stairs to his dormitory without a second glance at her. If only he did take a second glance, he would see the hurt in her eyes. But her emotion was caught by the twins sitting on the floor in front of her, and they were not people who would let anyone they cared about with a long face. Sure, they hadn't known her long, but there was something about her that made the two fourth years cared deeply about her. The fact that she was Harry's little sister helped too for they thought of him as family. With a swift nod of his head, George motioned for his twin to go talk to the boy who lived while he sort the Slytherin in front of him. Fred left for the boy's dormitory with an understanding nod, without another word.

"You okay, little Elle?"

Ellie just shook her head whilst she hid her face in her hands. It wasn't like her brother to leave her alone. Making a rather bold move, he pulled the Slytherin off of the armchair she was sitting in and onto his lap. He wrapped his arms around her petite body, letting her rest her head on his shoulder. "You know, he's just worried about you being with Malfoy," he said as he patted her long dark coffee brown hair in a soothing manner. Ellie lifted her head from his shoulder as she looked at him with furrowed eyebrows. "In case he hasn't noticed, he's my friend. A rather good one."

"I know, little Elle," said George with a heavy sigh, "But you have to admit that git isn't the nicest person in Hogwarts."

"He's nice enough, though."

Holding back his own chuckle, he just shook his head and ruffled her hair, "I beg to differ. Harry isn't mad at you, you know."

"I know," said Ellie whilst she once again rested her head on his shoulder, "But I just can't help but feel like I've betrayed him."

The red headed boy didn't even have to look at her face to know how torn she was for her tone had given all her emotion away. Pulling back slightly, he put a finger under her chin and lifted her head so that she had to look at him straight in the eyes. "If the option is spending Christmas at Hogwarts or at the Malfoys, I think he would gladly choose the later."

Ellie couldn't help but let the soft chuckle escape her lips at the incredulous sarcasm the older boy just let out. The sound of her soft chuckle had caused the red headed boy's heart seemed to warm up a bit. He was glad that the eleven years old girl in front of her finally had her beaming smile back on her face. She was such a life of a party and he hated to see how upset she was. "Go talk to him," he said to her whilst wiping the tear stain on her cheeks. She merely nodded and stood up from his lap. Just before she ascend the stairs that would lead her to her brother's dormitory, she turned around to the fourth year standing in the middle of the common room. "Who knew you have such a wise mind albeit all your pranks. Thank you, George. Really."
