Luz's POV;

"Your first meeting with her."

I shot up when I suddenly felt a strong weight on my heart, and I don't mean my chest, my actual heart felt... Heavy.

Clutching my chest, I frowned at him wanting more answers.

"Hahahaha!"

I shot up when I heard laughing, a child's laughter? Where did that come from..?

Looking around, I made my way to where I thought the laughing came from.

Peeking from the bushes, my eyes widened.

I watched... Myself, younger self. It was the first time. The first moment too.

"S... Stop this." I muttered when he stood beside me.

"It's for your goo-"

"I don't care!! Cut this stupid thing out! Stop it now!" I yelled.

I'm going nuts, why am I yelling..!?

What am I mad at!? There was something! Something!!

I felt my breaths grow heavy as I watched myself run around playing before I met her...

"Ow!"

"Ah! Sorry! Are you ok?"

"Ohh... It's ok!"

I looked down on an open palm.

Why am I sweating so badly..!?

"Keep watching."

I scowled at his sudden comment as I tried to look back up from my hand.

"Hi, my name's Luz! What's yours?"

"Amity! Your ears are round, are you human?"

"Haha! Yeah! And your ears are pointy, my papa said that witches have pointy ears."

I sighed.

I sighed.

I really can't escape the past, can't I..?

I covered my ears when I saw Odalia cast a spell at my dad who blocked it for me.

I frowned when he collapsed and I sat there beside him waking him up.

"Stop! Stop! Stop it already!!"

I shot up when I heard glass shattering around me and my... Crying young self on the floor with King.

"Uhh, hey, uuhm... Whatever you are, do you need help?"

I cut my hand on the glass when I snuck into the owl house, it was my first time there, the first time I saw it and went inside.

"King?? What's all the loud crying?? Did you bring some kind of baby inside or--... Is that a human..? Baby?"

It was here I first met Eda because I ran away when Amity yelled at me to do so back in the forest.

"Uhh, hey, little walking human..? Are you ok? Oh, you cut yourself, right..."

I snickered a bit.

This was the worst first meeting with Eda.

It must've been also why I saw her as some kind of cool mom than a stranger I broke into.
