"Please... Don't just stand there. Help him," Cessie pleaded with Ava.

"What else, Cessie? You have to be professional. They were destined for this," Ava replied.

Cessie, at a loss for what else to do, looked at Johnson.

"You can't let him die in there," she said, approaching Johnson.

"Listen, Cessie. This is the best way to restore order," Johnson said.

"Don't you see him?" Cessie asked, pointing to the monitor nearby. Ava shook her head, unable to comprehend the child's actions.

"Please..." Cessie pleaded.

"Ah-" Johnson's words were cut off as Cessie, with remarkable reflexes, pulled the weapon from Johnson's waist and held it to her own head.

"NOO!!" Ava panicked, shouting.

"What are you doing?" Johnson asked, equally panicked as Ava.

"If you don't get him out of danger, I'd rather die than live alone without him," Cessie said.

"You wouldn't actually do it, Cessie," Johnson said, trying to take back the weapon from Cessie's grip.

"Oh yeah?" the child asked, slightly mocking.

"Cessie, think about what you're doing," Ava pleaded.

"Yeah... I've been thinking about it for a long time, and I think it's going to become a reality," Cessie said, pulling the trigger that clicked.

"Okay!" Ava exclaimed, causing Cessie to pause.

"Stop the Griever!" Ava commanded her subordinates, staring at the monitor.

"Cessie..."

Cessie's POV ...

"Cessie... wake up, please," someone said.

"Oh, Minho," I said, looking at him.

"Are you okay?" he asked, concerned. Just look at him. He's a mess, with disheveled hair and puffy eyes.

Wait... why? Did he just cry? I didn't see any tears, but his eyes are swollen.

"You look absolutely awful," I said, laughing.

I could feel him hugging me tightly, making me feel safe in his embrace.

"You idiot!" he exclaimed. I, still somewhat conscious, unconsciously let out a small scream, holding my pounding head.

"I've told you countless times, Cessie! Before we entered, I warned you. No matter what happens, just never stop running!" he said, his voice shrill.

"You're such a pain... shit!" he exclaimed again.

Did he just scold me? Oh my gosh. Minho often warns me, but this time he's really angry about what just happened.

"Shit!" he muttered, releasing me.

"Luckily, I found you, or you could have been trapped in there. No food. No body!" he continued.

Now I understand why he forbade me from going in.
