On the same day, in the late afternoon approaching evening, two men were seen walking towards the entrance of the Glade. Yup, it was Minho, escorting Ben towards the maze entrance that was guarded by the Gladers.

Ben's hands were tightly bound with a rope. Minho held Ben's hand just behind his neck, leading him towards the gathering of the Gladers.
"Please, listen..." Ben pleaded.
"Please, Minho, please..." the man cried.
Minho appeared indifferent to what Ben was saying. The Gladers were deeply saddened by Ben's condition.
Minho and Ben walked closer until they arrived right in front of the maze entrance, causing Ben to kneel facing the maze.

The atmosphere was tense as they both arrived in the midst of the crowd. Ben pleaded with Minho, Alby, and anyone else around him. Minho reached for a knife from behind his shoulder and cut the rope that bound Ben's hands.
