The Love of Milim and Rimuru

Chapter 1: Veldora's release

After my evolution to a demon lord, I returned back to my office where I met the three beastketeers. I couldn't help but feel sad after hearing what the three beastketeers said about Milim. It's been a long time since we met and a lot has happened but one thing has not changed and that is my feelings for her. Yes, I'm in love with Milim Nava, got a problem with that?! It happened when I first met her. She came to my city because she was curious about me. After a little fighting, I took her into the city and showed her around. She had the expression of a little child who was seeing her toy's for the first time. I couldn't help but like her because of her free spirit.

Before my evolution, I heard the story of how Milim became a demon lord and it broke my heart if I hard one that is. I couldn't imagine what she went through after loosing everything that she loved. She always smiles whenever I showed her some new things but I never knew that deep down, she was a very lonely girl who had no one to care for her. I vowed then that I will do everything within my powers to make sure that she keeps that smile I love so much in her face.

Which is why, when I heard that Clayman may be controlling Milim, I was enraged. I hated Clayman before because of what he did but hearing that he might be controlling Milim, sealed his fate.

'How dare that Clayman! He thinks he can control Milim and get away with it. After I'm through with him, he will wish he never did something so stupid again. Just wait Milim, I will save you soon' Rimuru thought with anger.

3rd Pov

After the meeting with the three beastketeers, Rimuru went out to the field in his slime form with Ranga to think on how to handle all the situations presented before him. As he was thinking, a demon appeared before him.

"It's good that you are awake master" The demon said to him

"Yeah?!" Was his response but on the inside, he was thinking 'who on earth is this'

"Allow me to express my joy in seeing you become a full-fledged demon lord" the demon said to him while bowing

"Sure but, who are you again?" Rimuru asked him with a confused voice

The demon dramatically fell down to his knees with a sad look "to think that my own master would forget me. Oh how my demon heart is breaking"

Ranga whispered to Rimuru "lord Rimuru! He is the demon you summoned by sacrificing the Falmuth knights"

'Oh that right! He is the guy I called when I was beginning my evolution. To think that he is still here' Rimuru thought to himself

After a lot of talking, Rimuru named the demon Diablo. Now Diablo noticed that Rimuru is troubled by something

"If I may my lord, what seems to be the problem?" Diablo asked

"They are just to many problems that I have to solve. Demon lord Clayman's schemes, the aftermath of the kingdom of Falmuth and how to deal with the Western Holy Church that views monsters as enemies. I just don't know where to start" Rimuru said tiredly

"It looks like there is so many troubles but it doesn't appear that this is what is most troubling you" Diablo said to him

"Yes master. I agree with Diablo" Ranga said as well

Rimuru look at the ground before speaking "well actually, all this problems are great but my main concern is that Clayman might be controlling Milim"

"Demon lord Milim! I don't think she is someone who can be easily controlled" Diablo said

"Yes I'm aware but what if she really is being controlled? If Clayman orders her to attack me, I don't think I can beat her even though I'm now a demon lord. She is just too strong for me to handle and even if I can beat her, I don't think I could bring myself to hurt her you know"
