     October 29th

As usually, Chase is the first pup to be up in the early mornings. He starts off with waking the other pups up. After Chase yawned for a quick second, he looked at the clock in his pup house and noticed that it was already 5:58 AM. To say the least, even though he never admitted it, he didn't really like waking up early in the morning. He loved sleeping in. But, duty calls.

But today was more of a special day to him and he immediately got excited.

Chase lifted his door as he stretched out and looked around. It was still a little dark outside, but the sky was dark blue with grey clouds and the spread of orange and a little bit of pink on the sky, shining from the sun. The sun was slowly rising over the dark sky. Chase sighed as he walked back in and placed on his pup-pack.

"Ruff! Megaphone!" Chase called out and his megaphone popped out of his pack and above his head. Chase sighed and he cleared his throat.

"GOOD MORNING PUPS! TIME TO WAKE UP!" Chase yelled out through the megaphone and his sentence rung through everyone's pup-house. Ten seconds have passed and Chase heard the door to a pup-house near him, slide open up, followed with a grunt.

"Ugh! Someday, I'll destwoy that megaphone." A chocolate Labrador, Zuma, growled as he was rubbing his eyes, obviously super tired. The door next to him opened up, revealing a mixed breed, with his eyes closed and yawned.

"Get in line, Zuma." Rocky said.

The door next to Rocky, opened, revealing a bulldog yawning.

"Geez, before I eat breakfast, I'd like a better morning call than this." Rubble complained.

Then, another door opened, revealing a Dalmatian.

"Good morning, everyone." Marshall yawned out, out of everyone, Marshall is the only one who didn't mind Chase's wake up calls. Sure, he didn't like them as much, but Marshall understood why and to be honest, Marshall gets a lot of sleep during the night. But, most of all, Marshall sees Chase as a brother than anything.

Everyone walked up and Chase noticed someone missing. He turned to see that the last pups house door wasn't opened. While all the other pups went inside the lookout for breakfast, Chase went over to Skye's pup-house. She's the beautiful cockapoo that Chase had always had a crush on. Ever since he landed his eyes on her, Chase couldn't believe there was a pup that beautiful and not only look, but everything about her was amazing. She's fun, adorable, kind, caring and loving. Chase has always wondered what an amazing pup like Skye was doing in a cold, cold world like this one.

Chase made his way over to her pup house and knocked on the door with his paw, but nobody answered. This made Chase confused as he knocked once more.

"Skye? It's me, Chase. It's time to get up." Chase said in his most soothing voice. While it is disrupting to have a loud voice yelling at you to wake up, Chase tries his best to make his voice sound soothing and calm, like you'll fall asleep to it.

He then heard some grunting as the door slowly lifted up, to let Chase see Skye, who looked tired and her top hair tuff was messy, but in all honesty. Even when she's super tired and looked like she didn't sleep at all, she still managed to look beautiful. Skye rubbed her eyes as she looked up to see Chase looking at her.

"Chase? What time is it?" Skye asked as she checked the clock, every single day, it felt like she was getting up earlier and earlier.

"It's about to be six. Well, I'll wait out here for you. But you might want to hurry, Rubble is gonna chow down the buffet inside if we're out here too long." Chase joked and Skye responded with a tired chuckle. She closed the door and prepared herself for the day.
