Team Up

     The man in the white suit kept driving until he was up top at one of the circular parking buildings. He left the car with the real box with the hard drive in his hands. It was still night time and the man already thought he had one.

"Classic tricks sometimes are the best tricks." The man laughed until a large shadow from one of the lights appeared. The man sweated as he looked up and gasped as he saw a man inside a robot.

It was Ruben

"Gah!" He jumped back and looked at Ruben in fear.

"H-How'd you escape the police!?" He stuttered and Ruben just smirked.

"Heh, you think a swat truck can keep me in!?" Ruben laughed as he then formed a frown on his face.

"Now it's time for some payback." Ruben said as he smashed the robotic fists together and slammed them down, causing an earthquake of the building, causing the man to fall back while throwing the box into the air which was caught by a certain dog in a certain helicopter. Both Ruben and the man faced the helicopter to which Fiona was hanging from.

Just then, Brutus ran up from behind and tackled Fiona down from the helicopter and rolled down the road of the driveway.

"What the-!?" Ruben was confused until multiple traffic cones landed on the top of Ruben's head, stacked on top of each other. Ruben looked back to see Chase with his pup-pack opened and had an excited look on his face.

"Woohoo! I got those things on that thing, what do I win!?" Chase asked in an excited tone and Ruben only growled.

"You!" Ruben growled and Chase gasped.

"I win me!? Hold on, that doesn't make any sense dude." Chase laughed and Ruben charged and Chase dodged as he looked to the side to see Fiona and Brutus fighting each other.

"My boss will own this city!" Fiona yelled while Brutus decided to argue.

"Funny joke, this city will belong to Mr. Lincoln!" Brutus argued and Chase deadpanned at them.

"Okay, I'll let them hug it out. I've got bigger things to focus on." Chase told himself as he dodged another charge from Ruben. Just then, both of them looked back and saw Brutus tackle Fiona, taking the box away from her and having Wilson drive up in his fancy car.

"Get it!" He opened the door as he screamed out and Brutus quickly dashed towards the car and ran inside and drove down. Fiona quickly jumped over to her helicopter and swung from the railings down to a couple floors, eventually crashing onto the hood of the car, causing it to crash right into a wall.

As soon as they heard the crash, Chase turned to Ruben.

"Hold on Goldie, let me get this straight, you wanna destroy that box?" Chase asked and Ruben turned to him also.

"Yeah, even though I work for the Overlord, I don't want Wilson to gain that drive and get all the credit for it!" Ruben declared and Chase sighed.

"I'm probably gonna regret this, but let's team up to take them down?" Chase offered and Ruben looked back from the driveway, thinking about whether he should team up with the guy that took him down or not. Either way, Ruben made his decision.

"Fine. But first, we need to get down to them." Ruben agreed and jumped up and Chase was confused until he realized what he was gonna do. Oh boy, this is gonna hurt Chase thought and with all of his weight, Ruben brought his body down with full force, breaking through the concrete all the way down to Brutus and Fiona along with Chase falling behind him.

Fortunately, it all worked out as Chase and Ruben were on the same floor as Fiona and Brutus.

"Nice one." Chase coughed and Ruben shrugged.

Brutus quickly got back up with the box and tried to run away, but was then tackled on the back by Fiona and stole the box once again and turned to face Ruben and Chase who were slowly walking towards her.

"I want that box! Get the point!?" Ruben tried to joke as his robotic arm formed into a large blade, which made Chase sigh.

"Look if we're gonna work together, at least get some better material." Chase said and Ruben only pushed Chase aside and then the bright light from Fiona's helicopter blinded the German Shepherd and Ruben and the two canons, loaded with smoke bombs, pulled out from the helicopter.

"No you don't! Ruff! Net!" Chase barked and shot the next to cover the glass and the canons which brought the helicopter down. Luckily it was slow enough, but crashed right onto the bottom. Chase only evilly smirked at the crash sight of the helicopter. Next time, stay away from our business Chase thought and looked back to see Brutus running up to Fiona and yanked the box away from her and Fiona ran up and jumped onto Brutus's back, grabbing the box away from him.

"Man, they've got issues." Chase said while walking up next to Ruben.

"Yeah, you wanna get in there?" Ruben asked as he looked at Chase.

"Well, I always wanted to know what it would be like to be a bird." Chase shrugged and was quickly pulled from the ground and with all of his might, Ruben threw Chase towards the ex-couple and Chase quickly tackled Fiona, which caused her to drop the box which was now destroyed by Ruben stomping on it.

"Nice one, partner." Chase grinned as he walked up to Ruben, but then he had a glare on his face.

"Sorry, we're not teammates anymore!" Ruben decaled and charged at the surprised German Shepherd and missed his attack.

"What!? No fist-bump? No high-fives!? Not even a compliment back!? You sir, are the worst teammate ever, I'm shocked!" Chase said, which made Ruben growl. Chase looked back to see Brutus charging towards Fiona.

"My owner was right to fire you from our company!" Fiona stated.

"Only because I pity her little precious 'daughter'" Brutus said and tackled Fiona up against the wall, biting down on her shoulder, making Fiona scream in pain.

Chase's eyes widened as he saw Brutus push Fiona down from the building. Chase quickly reacted fast as he ran up and jumped from the building as well.

"Ruff! Grappling hook!" Chase barked out and shot his grappling up behind the wall of the top floor, also catching Fiona on his back which made her gasp.

"Wow! You guys play hot potato hardcore!" Chase joked as he mysteriously grinned at Fiona who looked at Chase with a surprised look.

"What? Why did you rescue me? We're enemies so put me down!" She ordered and Chase deadpanned at her.

"Wow, you are the most bossiest damsel in distress I have ever rescued, also the heaviest." Chase added since he was carrying an adult dog. Chase and Fiona swung up to the first floor and landed safely and Fiona quickly pushed Chase away.

Just then, both of them heard more crashing going down below and it was only a matter of seconds before the entire building collapsed.

A Couple Minutes Later

Sirens can be heard

Chase coughed under the rubble and dust that filled the air, he pushed the stone upwards and coughed, slowly opening his eyes. The smoke and the dust had cleared and soon, the view of cop cars came into view and they saw them carrying a knocked out Ruben into a truck. Chase still had his hood up and decided not to make a scene and quickly escaped, making sure that nobody had seen him. He looked back and noticed that there was no Fiona or Brutus or Wilson in sight. They must've escaped Chase thought and groaned as his entire body felt sore.

Chase got down from the rubble on the other side where nobody was seen in sight. Chase sighed in relief. It was over now, but there were still so many questions he had. But decided that it was still pretty late.

And with that being said, Chase made his way towards the Lookout Tower.
