Skye's Strife

     Chase and Wild cat ate inside Mr. Porter's Café while Wild cat happily paid for the two of them. But while eating, Chase would stop a couple of times and think to himself. He kept replaying that image of Claw falling down the building.

He was conflicted on whether he was willing to let Claw fall or just saved Claw just to save himself? He kept wondering if he was going to let him fall. What made him act that way as well? Was it anger? Frustration? Sadness? What caused him to snap like that?

The German Shepherd couldn't even remember what he was thinking at the time, it's as if he blacked out and just suddenly snapped back to seeing himself letting Claw go.

The police pup sighed and dug back into his food with frustration which didn't go unnoticed by Wild cat.

The kitten noticed his best friend not eating and just slightly glanced at him, wondering if everything was okay but now, he can tell that Chase was conflicted. And the cat member of the Paw Patrol already thinks that it has something to do with this new change.

"Wow...you're eating fast." Wild cat nervously chuckled which caused Chase to stop eating and giggle back at him.

"Hehe, guess I'm really hungry, huh?"

Both of them laughed and went back to eating their food, but both of them were having different conflicting thoughts.

With Skye

Skye watched as Tundra walked towards the stand that's selling the mistletoes. She still has no idea what plan that Husky had, but the Cockapoo gets the feeling that she won't like it. Tundra decided to get the mistletoe herself, while she left Skye to think on her own.

Flash Back

"C'mon, it's not gonna be that bad. Besides, don't you wanna know if Chase is a good kisser?" She teased which made Skye blush even more.

"W-What? What's wrong with you?" She asked in a quiet tone, not trying to get attention from others as she was a little more embarrassed.

"Nothing's wrong. But I've seen the way you've been lookin' at him. Just think about it, the two of you kissing and maybe once your done, both of you will go his or yours pup-house and-"

Flash Back Ends

Skye began blushing as she remembered those words. She couldn't help but keep replaying them over and over and suddenly, she began getting imagery.

"Gah!" She gasped to herself as she slightly shook her head, trying to get rid of those thoughts.

Flash Back

"T-T-Than-mmph!"

Chase's soft lips connected with hers and Skye began blushing even harder. She was kissing Chase! But for some reason. But then, Skye found herself relaxing into the warm, soft, pleasing kiss. She couldn't help but lightly moan as she kissed back and her eyes widened as she realized what she was doing. She tried pulling back, but couldn't.

Just then, Chase broke the kiss and looked at Skye with a cool smile.

"Why don't we have a little more fun?" Chase asked and picked her up and lifted her on his back.

"W-Wait-What're you-!" Skye wanted to ask but Chase turned his head back and interrupted her with a lick to her nose.

"Don't worry. You can trust me." Chase said in the most convincing voice and Skye couldn't help but blush more and for some reason, she rested her head on the back of Chase's neck.

"Alright...I trust you."

Flash Back

Why did I just remember that!? Skye mentally yelled in her mind. And she even remembered the fact that she enjoyed that dream also. Skye mentally cried as to why she was one "suffering" from these feelings.

But then, soon those memories washed away with one certain memory.

Flash Back

"GET OUT!" Chase roared, earning gasps from everyone else except Jamison who winced at his loud, angry voice.

"Chase, calm down-!" Ryder tried, but Chase continued to yell towards Jamison.

"GET OUTTA HERE! I NEVER WANNA SEE YOU AGAIN! AND IF I DO, I'LL TEAR YOU APART!" Chase threatened.

"C-Chase, look I can...I can explain." Jamison stuttered but Chase didn't allow him to talk.

"Shut it! I heard everything and you made that very clear to me! You only wanted to use me for money!" Chase screamed

Flash Back Ends

The Cockapoo frowned at that memory. She's never seen Chase yell at anyone like that before, nor did he ever yell. Never in her or any of the other pups' lives did they ever see Chase snap like that. He represented a new side to him and it was quite scary to see, even though he wasn't yelling at them.

But she kept replaying that once sentence in her mind over and over. You only wanted to use me for money. She repeated. Thinking about it, she never knew the context of that. Did Jamison want to use Chase for money? But if that's the case then why abandon him at Adventure City? She thought to herself. Now realizing that her and the pups have been missing some small details.

That was something that Ryder or Chase haven't explained. If Jamison wanted to use him for money, it wouldn't make sense to abandon him. But at the same time, when Chase screamed like that, he didn't sound like he was lying at all. So what happened?

Skye then tried to recall what else she missed but she was only reminded of the questions the pups have mentioned from Chase. Do you wear a mask? Riddle? How much can you take on? Will you swim in the same waters? What can all of those mean?

For some reason, the pink pup began getting a little sickening feeling to her stomach as if there was something more to these questions rather than just simple ones.

Her entire thoughts on Chase began to take a slow turn but then were interrupted when Tundra walked up to her.

"Skye?"

The pink pup looked up at the Husky to see her holding up a mistletoe that she bought.

"I got it." She said and immediately Skye began to blush a little bit.

"So...what's your plan?" Skye asked which earned a smirk from Tundra and she gestured her to lean in and so Skye did and Tundra began whispering in her ear.

While explaining, Skye's face got redder and redder.
