New Mission

     Morning came, and Zuma and Rocky first woke up and walked out of their pup-houses. The time read 9:20 AM. Zuma and Rocky sadly yawned. For some reason, they didn't like waking up later than they used to.

"Man, we woke a bit later this time." Rocky said as he stretched.

"Yeah." Zuma sighed and Rocky then turned to his best friend in confusion.

"You know, you'd be the one celebrating at something like this." Rocky pointed and walked over to his best friend.

"I...I don't know, I just...this mowning just doesn't feel wight." Zuma said with a sad tone which didn't go unnoticed by Rocky.

"It seems like there's more to it." Rocky said and Zuma didn't say anything but slowly walked away with Rocky following behind him, and stopped at a fair distance to where they could see Chase's pup-house and Rocky looked over at Zuma who had somewhat of a sad and concerned expression on his face.

"Y-You're worried about him, aren't you?" Rocky asked and Zuma sighed once again.

"I...I just...I just want to know what's going on. He's just...he's..." Zuma had a difficult time to say, but Rocky finished it for him.

"He's not the same."

And Zuma sadly nodded and Rocky also looked at Chase's pup-house.

"You're not the only one worried about him." Rocky said and Zuma looked at him, and Rocky looked back at his best friend.

"We're probably not the only ones worried about him. I think we have to have a talk with the other pups." Rocky suggested and Zuma winced at the thought, he didn't like the fact of having another private conversation without Chase.

"Alwight, I guess you're wight." Zuma sadly agreed and the other pups began opening their doors, and Chase opened his, revealing himself in his black hoodie and his necklace. Zuma and Rocky were the first ones to walk up to him.

"Morning, Chase." Zuma greeted him and Chase yawned and then looked at him and Rocky with somewhat of a suspicious face.

"Uh, morning." Chase greeted back and the other pups walked up to him and Rubble noticed the necklace Chase was wearing.

"Woah! Cool necklace, Chase!" Rubble said with stars in his eyes.

"You just noticed?" Chase asked with an eyebrow raised and the entire atmosphere fell silent, Rubble gulped.

The pups stood in silence, Chase just stared at them with no emotion.

"Y-Yeah, but where did you get it from?" Everest asked, now interested in the necklace. The other pups also looked at the necklace Chase wore and marveled at it.

"It's none of your business." Chase stated and walked off, but one thing the pups noticed was that the logo on the necklace was also on his hoodie which confused them, but shrugged it off and walked inside the Lookout.

The pups were halfway through eating their breakfasts, when their pup-tags lit up.

"Paw Patrol, to the Lookout!" The pups heard Ryder's voice and quickly stopped eating.

"Ryder needs us!" The pups said and ran towards the elevator.

"Awwww! I didn't finish my breakfast!" Rubble whined, but still ran towards the elevator. Of course, Marshall tripped himself while running. Chase, knowing how Marshall is, quickly stepped to the side away from the pups and Marshall rammed into them like a bowling ball knocking down pins, except one.

Chase stared at the groaning pups with one eye open, like he was in deep thought.

"Guess I have to take a trip." Marshall punned, making the other pups chuckle except Chase who sighed in a little bit of annoyance as the elevator lifted the pups up and they changed into their uniforms, but none of the pups noticed Chase was in his new uniform he finally finished.

The pups finally got lifted to the pups and they jumped out in order and onto their usual spots.

"Paw Patrol ready for action Ryder, sir!" Chase said the usual introduction and Ryder was about to speak but halted himself as he was surprised to see Chase's new uniform for his missions, but carried on what he was going to say.

"Thanks for coming, pups. We've got another emergency in Adventure Bay. Apparently, a shop in the town has been knocked down." Ryder showed on the screen and the pups gasped.

"Seriously? What happened?" Rocky asked in shock.

"That's what we need to figure out. Apparently, this isn't the first one. A couple of other buildings around places like Adventure City have also been knocked down and nobody is able to figure out what caused it. That's what we're gonna do on this mission." Ryder said and scrolled through his pup-pack and pressed on Rubbles pup-tag which appeared on the screen.

"Rubble, I'll need you and your construction skills to clean up parts of the stone and bricks of the building." Ryder explained.

"Rubble on the double!" Rubble said his usual catchphrase and then Rocky's pup-tag appeared on the screen.

"Rocky, there'll be trash around the site, I'll need you to clean up the trash as much as you can." Ryder said.

"Green means go!" Rocky said his catchphrase. Skye's pup-tag appeared next.

"Skye, I need you to fly up on your copter and look around to see if you can spot anything that can lead to why the building collapsed." Ryder said.

"This pups gotta fly!" Skye said as she backflipped, Marshall's pup-tag appeared next.

"Marshall. There are probably cut wires and can possibly begin small fires, so I'll need you on standby in case that happens."

"I'm fired up"! Marshall said confidently and Everest and Zuma's pup-tags appeared.

"Everest and Zuma, since this incident didn't happen too long ago, I want you to keep an eye out in case any other building like this one collapses around Adventure Bay."

"Let's dive in!"

"Ice or snow, I'm ready to go!"

"And lastly, Chase!" Ryder said and Chase's pup-tag was revealed and the pups were surprised to see a much different color. The colors were still the same, but the blue background of the star was replaced with a black color.

"I'll need you to keep the people safe from the destroyed buildings, and I'll need you to use your detective skills to try and figure out if you can find anything that caused this incident." Ryder explained.

"Taking the bad guys down? That'll be an easy case!" Chase said a new catchphrase which surprised the pups, but they had to admit, it was a cool catchphrase. Noticing Chase's new pup-tag on the screen, the pups slightly looked over and were surprised to see Chase in a new police uniform. His police hat was recolored black, but kept the silver Paw Patrol symbol and the yellow line at the bottom. Chase's outfit was the same but turned into a hoodie with yellow lines leading down to the end and the pup-pack was also recolored black and white lines passed down the long sleeves.

Everest and Skye, once again, blushed at the sight of the German Shepherd while the other pups were just as surprised at the change of their police pup.

"Alright! Paw Patrol is on a roll!" Ryder cheered along with the pups and ran towards the pole while the pups ran towards the slide.

The mission was on.
