Chase was making his way to Porters Café to deliver the small paper with the orders on it. But that wasn't on his mind, ever since he left the walk, before and after, he kept thinking back to Kushina and Edan, replaying their disappointed faces in his mind over and over again. He thought this before, but he just couldn't stand seeing their hurt faces again, especially because of him.

Kushina and Edan, for the first time, made him feel...

Loved

The German Shepherd sighed, knowing that just thinking about it and regretting it won't fix anything, but still, it was hard. But then, his thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of obnoxious laughter.

He looked over to the side onto the beach and saw something that confused him. There was Mr. Porter's grandson, Alex, on his knees with a large ball of snow beside him and beside it was a ruffled mess of snow and a little stick with two stones, and some other snow figures made into two small dogs. They weren't the best, which would be the reason for the laughter, but the laughter that he heard were from the two other kids that were standing a few feet in front of Alex. The two kids looked to be a little bit older than the kid which already gave out bad signs.

Even though he didn't really know what's going on, Chase kind of had an idea, but his suspicions were answered pretty soon enough.

"Hahaha! How's your snowman lookin' now?" One of the kids laughed and Chase glanced over to Alex who seemed like he was about to burst into tears.

"Why would you guys do that!? Why do you guys have to be so mean?" He asked as a couple of tears began streaming down his face and the German Shepherd looked back and watched as the two laughed even more, and for some reason, anger began to build up inside the police pup.

"Please, we're just trying to save this place from seeing such a horrible excuse for a snowman!" The other kid laughed as he proceeded to kick the large snowball, now causing it to collapse and merge with the snow in the ground which made Alex gasp and more tears began streaming down his face.

"It's supposed to be Ryder and the Paw Patrol!" Alex corrected in a broken voice, which made them laugh even more.

"Seriously? HAHA! Don't make me laugh, why would the Paw Patrol ever care? Plus, why would someone like them ever know or acknowledge a loser like you?" The other kid laughed and both laughed even harder, making Alex even more upset.

Chase watched all of this go down and of course, more anger built up inside him.

Flash Back

"You know, you gotta watch where you're going." One boy said in a threatening tone.

"I-I-I'm sorry." Chase apologized, even though having the bottle in his mouth, he was still able to speak loud and clear. The boys then realized who this pup was and when they saw what he was holding in his mouth, their grains grew wider.

"Heh, so are your parents making you run errands again?" The other boy laughed.

"Sorry, but I'm in a h-hurry." Chase stuttered, trying to find a reason to escape them, and when he tried to run, the teenagers blocked his path.

"I feel sorry for you. You sure have it rough, taking care of your crazy parents." One of the boys said as he got down to Chase's level, but with his grinning expression and tone of voice, Chase could tell they were making fun of him.

"Crazy?" Chase softly repeated in a shocked tone.

"Hahaha! Of course they are crazy! I mean, everybody knows they went to prison a bunch of times in the past. Only crazy people would go to jail that many times and they still manage to get uglier than I could've imagined." The other boy said and both of them laughed.
