"I bet you've suffered a lot." She began in a soft voice, which made Chase start to shiver but did his best to hide it. He also noticed that she wasn't looking directly at him, but mostly towards the ceiling as she was waiting for something.

"But that's over now." She then said, As much as Chase wanted to believe her, the nauseous feeling just wouldn't get away.

"Because I'm taking custody of you."

"You did well, enduring...so, don't worry...because from this moment on..." She then looked Chase directly in his eyes, and her bright, red colored eyes.

"I will be your owner and your mother, Chase."

"There's nothing to be afraid of." She said and slowly put her hand forward and placed it on Chase's cheek, softly rubbing it.

"Now...I need you to come with me."

"W-What?" He stuttered, asking in noticeable fear and confusion. Lady Keres rubbed her thumb under Chase's eye, trying to sooth him.

"I told you, didn't I? That there's nothing to be afraid of. You're now one of my precious children." She said.

"I want you to accept me as your new mother. Because when you do...you'll no longer be empty." Chase looked at her with wide eyes, surprised by that sentence.

"When you and I truly become mother and son...I'll give you a special gift as my favorite."

Chase couldn't even be able to think anymore, without trying to, his mouth moved on his own and whispered...

"Okay."

Chase quickly stood from his bed, gasping for air as if he had been running for a marathon. Some sweat drenched his face until he calmed himself down. It was only a dream. Again? Chase thought in his mind as he lay back down on his pillow. Why is he having these nightmares now, he's safe...right? He looked over at the clock.

5:30 AM

Not deciding to hurt his brain by thinking all of these thoughts, Chase jumped from his bed and quietly walked out the door out to the main room. He planned on getting some sort of snack since Humdinger and Helga would leave some out for the pups and kittens, but when Chase looked ahead towards a comfy, rocky chair. He got confused.

Normally, since there weren't enough rooms in Humdinger's home, Maya and Arya would sleep on a comfy, rocky chair. Squishy and soft with blankets and pillows. But for some reason, Maya was sleeping alone and Arya is nowhere to be found.

Now feeling anxious, Chase looked around to try and find if there were any notes left by Arya which could explain her disappearance. But nothing was found. Chase panicked a little bit as he scavenged around the room, but then remembered.

Bringing back his focus, Chase ran over to the chair where Maya was still sleeping. Being extra quiet to try and not wake her sister up, Chase lowered his face to where Arya slept and sniffed around a little bit. He then weakly smiled as he got her scent.

Silently backing away from Maya, Chase followed the scent around the room and quickly followed the trail out the large rocky door. Chase's eyes widened a little bit as his confusion was added on with a bit of concern.

She left the Humdingers home.

With Arya

Waking up earlier than the rest of her family, Arya decided to get some fresh air and go out for a little walk around Foggy Bottom. And needless to say, she found it refreshing. The fog definitely helped as a soft, cold breeze blew through her fur. She smiled at the feeling as she sunk into that feeling.
