After it was revealed that the pup's parents will be visiting Adventure Bay, everyone quickly began cleaning up the Lookout and their pup-houses. Chase's pup-house wasn't that big of a mess, but was just organizing a few stuff.

Great...just great. Chase thought. He wasn't really looking forward to his friend's parents coming over to Adventure Bay. He could hear the other pups talking about how fun it would be and everything else like that, they were really excited to see their parents again.

Flash Back

"I-I'm really sorry! I promise I'll do it right tomorrow..." Chase tried to say but was quickly interrupted by his fathers booming voice.

"YOU MUTT!"

Chase's father quickly grabbed Chase's front paw and dragged him but the kitchen to where he took the middle belt from the hanger and dragged Chase to his room where he would usually be sleeping. As both of them entered the room, Chase's father threw his son down to the floor and slammed the door shut.

"D-Dad...wait, please." Chase begged.

"You hollow, good-for-nothing! Hopefully this will teach you something!" Chase's father roared and raised the leather strap.

"D-Dad...w-what're you...?" Chase tried to ask, but the pain kept messing up his speech.

"You're staying out there for the night and thinking about what you did." Chase's mother answered for him and saw the door close.

Flash Back Ends

"Chase?"

"Woah!" Chase jumped and turned around to see Skye, standing there also a little bit startled.

"Oh, hey Skye." Chase greeted.

"Hey Chase." Skye greeted back and silence filled the air between them.

"Anyway, what's up?" Chase asked.

"Nothing much, are you excited? Tomorrow, all of our parents are gonna be here." Skye said with an excited grin but Chase frowned at her a little bit.

"Meh, sure." He shrugged and focused back on organizing his pup-house, which earned a concerned but also a confused look from Skye.

"You don't seem that...excited to see your parents." Skye pointed out and Chase's eyes squinted as she said that. Chase kept his feelings in as he could feel them building up more and more by the day.

"They...they're not coming."

Skye slightly gasped when he heard Chase say that. What's more surprising, is that Chase didn't seem unfazed by it all. As if he was okay with it.

"Really? Why?" She asked.

"Meh, they're just too busy so they can't come." Chase shrugged off once again and turned back to his pup-house. Skye stared at Chase sadly while he was cleaning.

"O-Oh...I-I'm sorry." Skye apologized and Chase smirked but then turned to Skye.

"Eh, don't act sorry, it's fine." Chase reassured and Skye sadly stared at Chase once again. And then both of them walked inside the Lookout along with the rest of the pups and smiled at the sight of the clean Lookout.

"Good job pups, tomorrow, you and your parents will have a lot of fun." Ryder said and the pups cheered with a howl, all except Chase.

"So, when are we gonna pick them up from the train station?" Chase asked and Ryder looked at the clock and wondered.

"Well, we'll need to prepare a meal for them when they come to stay here, so I'd say around mid-day." Ryder said and everyone smiled and nodded their heads in agreement.

"Alright, well tomorrow you're gonna need energy, so you should get some sleep." Ryder said and the pups agreed and all left the Lookout, except Chase.

"Everything okay, Chase?" Ryder asked and Chase kept silent as he kept staring at the doors the pups left at and realized that he was still standing beside Ryder.

"Yeah, everything's fine." Chase lied and began making his way towards the door. Ryder sadly stared at the German Shepherd walking out of the door. This is gonna be one big challenge for him Ryder thought and turned off the lights of the Lookout and went upstairs to bed.

Skye felt a light kiss on her forehead and a warm soft touch of a paw on her forehead as well. Skye slowly looked up to see Chase kissing her on top of her forehead. Same time? He did this before!? Am I dreaming!? Skye thought. After a couple of seconds, Chase let go and faced Skye. Skye looked deep into his brown eyes, but the lights from the Lookout and the night sky made his eyes glitter a blue color, as if she was looking straight into the ocean. The messy hair and the black clothing made Chase look outstanding. And Skye couldn't help but blush even harder. W-W-W-W-What's wrong with me!? She thought.

There it was again, she felt warm inside, her heart fluttered and her stomach felt like they had butterflies. Her tail was uncontrollably wagging so much. The feeling she felt before was back.

"Well, you're not getting a fever, but you're still red." Chase's calm, soft voice made Skye blush even more. A slight cold breeze ran through both of them.

"But you know, you still look beautiful." Chase complimented and Skye was left speechless. Chase just called her beautiful!

"T-T-Than-mmph!"

Chase's soft lips connected with hers and Skye began blushing even harder. She was kissing Chase! But for some reason. But then, Skye found herself relaxing into the warm, soft, pleasing kiss. She couldn't help but lightly moan as she kissed back and her eyes widened as she realized what she was doing. She tried pulling back, but couldn't.

Just then, Chase broke the kiss and looked at Skye with a cool smile.

"Why don't we have a little more fun?" Chase asked and picked her up and lifted her on his back.

"W-Wait-What're you-!" Skye wanted to ask but Chase turned his head back and interrupted her with a lick to her nose.

"Don't worry. You can trust me." Chase said in the most convincing voice and Skye couldn't help but blush more and for some reason, she rested her head on the back of Chase's neck.

"Alright...I trust you."

"GAH!" Skye yelled. She was sweating a lot, and her cheeks were red. She looked at her surroundings and saw that she was still inside her pup-house.

"O-O-Ohh, it was...it was just a dream." Skye sighed in relief. What kind of dream was she having? Why...Why did I like it so much? Skye thought and then a sudden knock startled her.

She opened the door and gasped when she saw Chase standing there. In the black hoodie and his dreamy eyes and his messy hair being blown by the small breeze.

"C-Chase?" She said,

"Hey Skye, the pups woke up before I did, so I figured I should come and wake you up." Chase said casually.

"O-Oh." Was all Skye could say.

"Anyways, we're preparing the food now, and we'll be leaving soon so, you should probably get ready." Chase said and noticed that Skye was sweating and her cheeks were red.

"Uh...are you okay? You look a little...sick." Chase asked, a little weirded out by how Skye woke up.

"YEAH! I'M FINE!" Skye nervously yelled and quickly shut the door, surprising Chase.

Geez, what's up with her? Chase wondered, but shrugged as he made his way inside the Lookout.
