New Upgrades

     Chase joined the other pups and were reviewing the footage from the drone of the whole fight that went down. Eventually, Ryder tried to find out who Carson was on the internet but nothing showed up.

"Huh, that's pretty strange. I was hoping that we would find something." Rocky sighed, while Ryder kept trying to look online.

"But I wonder where he got that gauntlet from." Marshall wondered.

"He said something about an Overlord." Chase reminded them and the pups turned to Chase.

"If anything, I bet the Overlord has something to do with that kind of weapon. Who knows if there's more people like him carrying more dangerous weapons." Chase explained, and Ryder couldn't help but agree.

"Chase is right, we have to keep an eye on them." Ryder said and the pups nodded in agreement.

With Chase

After that exchange, the pups went on to do their own thing while Chase was back in his pup-house. Overlord Chase repeated the word over and over in his mind. He wondered who the Overlord could be, but most importantly, what were they up to? Chase sighed and decided to go outside for a little bit.

Chase looked back at his pup-house. I can't believe that's what got me spotted. Chase sighed. It was easy to spot bright colors in dark places, and his blue cruiser was bright. Chase smiled as he had a thought.

"If I can change my outfit, I can change my car." Chase quietly laughed, and decided to go visit Ryder. He could hear him working on his ATV and Chase decided to go down and pay a visit.

"Hi, Ryder sir." Chase greeted and Ryder looked up and smiled at the sight of the German Shepherd.

"Hey, Chase. What's up?" Ryder asked as he focused back on his ATV.

"Nothing much, just wondering what you're up to." Chase said.

"Well, I'm working on some upgrades of my ATV." Ryder giggled and Chase laughed and that's when he was reminded of why he came down.

"Oh yeah. I'm thinking about doing some upgrades on my pup-pack and my car." Chase said and Ryder looked up at Chase with a bit of a surprised look.

"Really? What kind of upgrades?" Ryder asked.

"I was thinking about adding a grappling hook to my pup-pack and repainting my car." Chase said with a nervous grin, wondering how Ryder would respond. He only looked at Chase with a bit of a surprised look, but remembered the footage that he watched from Chase's drone.

"You know, I could understand why. Alright, I'll help you out." Ryder said with a confident grin and Chase looked up with a surprised look.

"Really?" Chase asked.

"Really." Ryder grinned.

With Skye

Skye and Everest were walking along Adventure Bay, eventually passing the wreck they were at.

"Man, this is gonna take a lot of cleaning up to do." Everest stated and Skye nodded in agreement.

"Do you really think that Carson has something to do with knocking down all of the buildings?" Skye asked, even though he had a powerful weapon, it almost seemed impossible for one man to do that much damage.

"It's possible, I mean, he can blast vibrating air and it's incredibly strong. Pretty sure it could knock down a building." Everest made a point.

"Yeah, but I wonder where he is right now." Skye began wondering.

"I think we might touch on that tomorrow, but right now, we gotta focus on cleaning up this mess." Everest said and Skye sighed.

This was gonna be a lot of work.

With Chase

After screwing the bolts back together onto Chase's pup-pack, the new upgrade was ready.

"Alright Chase! Your new pup-pack is ready to go." Ryder said and Chase grinned.

"Thanks, Ryder. Now what about my car?" Chase asked and he heard the garage door open behind him and saw Robo-Dog bringing in his police car that he drove while the pups had to go to Adventure City to stop Humdinger.

"Wait, you mean we're gonna use our newer vehicles for this?" Chase asked and Ryder nodded at him.

"Carson and those weapons are a problem, and we're gonna have to up our game if we're gonna find him and find out who the Overlord is and what their plan is." Ryder explained and Chase couldn't help but agree.

"Alright, so what kind of paint job are we talking about here?" Ryder asked and Chase smiled at him.

"It's not even a question." Chase laughed as he picked up a bucket by the handle with his teeth that held black paint.

"First, we have to make sure that I won't get spotted again like I did back at that warehouse." Chase explained and Ryder smiled.

"Interesting. Alright, let's get to work." Ryder said with a thumbs up and Chase grinned.

Somewhere In Adventure City

In a large skyscraper building, two business men were in an office on the top of the building. One of the men was large and with long, greasy black hair and the other man was a regular sized, who looked as if he was a big deal in business.

"New topic about Carson, it seems he has reported taking down a dog at the warehouse. But not any specific dog." The large man said.

"Do you care at all?" He asked and the other business man sat down behind his desk.

"I couldn't tell you how much I don't." He replied

"Really? Cause it seemed to me that the dog and his team had saved your building before, Leon." The large man responded.

"I have nothing to do with that German Shepherd or his team at all, Wilson. Which is exactly why I am tipping you off."

"And mind explaining that?" Wilson asked and Leon smirked at him.

"I'm already helping you provide with these high-tech weaponry. And we have countless prototypes and if something happens to them, then those guys hired are useless." Leon explained and Wilson dug into his jacket.

"Which perfectly brings up an issue that my boss, or as you may know him, the Overlord would like to discuss with you." Wilson said as he pulled out his phone and lied in front of Leon. After a couple seconds of silence, a dark, deep, intimidating voice came from the phone.

"Mr. Leon. I have a proposition for you. When that pup, Chase and the rest of the Paw Patrol fought against people like Humdinger, Sid, and now Carson, they're too busy to interfere with my plans. We would like to hire you to create more...what do you call them...oh that's right, assassins and along with your high-tech weaponry."

Leon replayed those words in his mind and looked up at Wilson.

"And what's my benefit?" Leon asked.

"Funding's and large fortunes. Not only that, but my competition has one of its targets on you. With that being said, you'd be fighting for your life...deal?"

Silence

And then, Leon opened his mouth to respond:

"Deal"
