Coming back from the hospital, I actually thought it was fine now, that me and Jo Eun would start living normally again just like we used to. Turns out, because of me, someone else is suffering.

*Flashback*

"Hyung.", I was at the terrace in the library sitting alone when someone suddenly called from behind, only to find out later that it was Shin Young with his face looking a bit haggard. I wonder what's up with this guy now?

"Oh, what's up?", I said in a casual tone. But instead of answering me, he just went straight on resting his arms on the terrace fence. I tried peeking at his face but he doesn't seem to be in a good mood this night. I don't know why, but it felt like he's something serious to tell me.

"Umm-", once I started to feel the silence overcoming us, I thought about asking him a question but he instantly cut me off.

"Hyung, can I ask you a favor?", he began with his face plain serious, his eyes directly looking at mine.

"Y-ye, sure. What's it?", I stuttered. For a second or two, there was silence between us again. Whatever he want to say right now, I just hope it isn't something that would start another huge argument between us like before.

"... 미안 (I'm sorry).", he sighed as he broke the silence which overcame the atmosphere around us. I'm confused, why is he apologizing right now to me?

"Uhh, why suddenly-"

"I thought it'd help me ease the pain in my chest if I apologized to you... if that's what you're going to ask.", his voice trailed off. Minutes after another silence overcame the atmosphere, he began to ask...

"*Sigh... hyung, why?"

"... why of all the people, why does it h-have to be you?", I gulped once he started throwing me another glance. Though I'm still filled with confusion, I told myself not to say anything just yet and let him talk.

"Hyung... I'm in pain right now... I thought it would be easy, but it wasn't. I was wrong.", he explained with his voice trembling. I stood up right then and come up to him. Resting my hand on top of his shoulder, I tried to peek into his face onto to see his tears flowing down his cheeks.
