*Ja Hoon's POV*

I started liking her since our freshmen year in high school. Yes, you heard it right. She's my classmate that time. Since freshmen up until senior high. I can still remember it. I can't forget those times.

She was the target of bullies, based on what I knew. And just like the other victims, she wouldn't fight back. She's weak and doesn't even have much of friends. She was more like an introvert. Well, she is. But, I guess she's the worst introvert I've ever met.

Basically, just try to think of it. Whenever I try to have a small talk with her, she ignores me as if I was just talking to myself! Aish~ (ノ_~) ... I'm telling you, she's a total snob for almost like, her whole high school life. Ahh, well~ But I could still remember this incident, where she's really beaten up by those bullies in our school that made her change pretty much a lot.

*(Flashback.. Previously...)*

That night, I was already on my way home from school. Usually, the teachers would dismiss us at around 6:30 pm.

I was walking slowly with my headphones on. The sky was getting dark, but I wouldn't mind. There wasn't actually much to do inside the house I'm staying, anyway. And my parents were living in our province to work, so I'm usually home alone.

As I was about to pass the third block of the street, I heard a girl's loud scream. Well, even if I'm with my headphones on, I was pretty sure that I heard it loud and clear.

I tried to sneak out from behind the thick wall that divides the third block from the second block. As I did so, I saw a figure of a girl sitting on the ground while being beaten with baseball bats and golf clubs. She's bleeding so bad that I couldn't even recognize her face. Then I stared at the other girls for a moment. They were pretty familiar. Their uniform was definitely the same as ours.

For a minute, I waited. Until the girls with weapons left, leaving the girl unconscious on the ground. I couldn't actually interfere earlier. Because if I did so, they might come back and I'll be their target when that happens.

I waited few more minutes before I slowly walked towards the unconscious girl. There I saw, some parts of her face were serious wounds and bruises. Her uniform was almost covered with blood. There wasn't much of the light for me to see her face clearly, so I tried to lower myself down. Only to find out it was her. Nam Jo Eun.

(Fast forward...)

I brought her to my house so I could treat her wounds as soon as possible since she lost a lot of blood. She wasn't actually that heavy, so it helped me out to get home easily.

I let her stay in my house up until she comes back to her senses and get her recovery for about a week. Fortunately after that, she left with a stable condition.

Yet, before I knew it, I realized that she wasn't just a commoner living in a simple house. Once, there was a news broadcasts on the television about a missing high school girl being found. They showed some of the girl's pictures, and that's how I learned that she's a daughter of a royal family. You know, rich people?

At that point as well, there's a live broadcast about a bus accident occurred in a province where my parents are working. Says there were pretty much a lot of casualties. Out of 18 passengers, 12 people were injured while the rest of them were killed. Unfortunately, among those people that were killed, the two of them are my parents.
