"What's out there?" Dylan repeats, looking off into the distance.

You shake your head, "You can't just look full of wonder. You're in a new place with creepy things! You've gotta look kind of scared too. Scared but curious. Come on Dylan! I know you can do it!"

Dylan sticks his tounge out at you, "You're just a picky little thing, aren't you?"

Thomas sighs, "Not really. She's very easy to please. You just bloody suck."

Dylan sends a death glare in Toms direction, "You wanna go, bro?"

"You know I do!" Thomas says starting to stand up.

You shove both boys back down in their seats, "Not until Dylan gets this line right. Dylan, your reputation rests on this. "

"His reputation for sucking?" Thomas asks raising an eyebrow.

You glare at Thomas, "You're not helping."

Thomas raises his hands in surrender.

You look to Dylan, "Try again."

"Yes MOM." Dylan says putting emphasis on Mom.

"What's out there?"

You clap, "That was better! You looked kind of scared."

"I know something that would help!" Ki says looking at you mischeviously, "Just think about Iris' wrath! Pretend she's mad at you."

Dylan's out drops open in teasing horror, "Gosh, NO! NOT IRIS!"

You swat him on the arm but can't help but smile.

"Dylan! Come over here!" Mr. Ball calls from one of the screens nearby.

Dylan sighs, "Be right back. Maybe."

Ki looks over at the two of you, "I need to go to the poop."

"Ew." Thomas squints at Ki.

"TMI." You mutter scrunching up your nose.

Ki smiles, "I'll be back in a few minutes."

You shake your head.

That boy is disgusting.

How do you manage to be friends with all these weirdos?

"I need a little fresh air. Want to come with me?" Thomas asks.

"Sure." You say jumping off the ground.

He walks forward towards the back door and says to the security guard, "We're just stepping outside. It's stuffy in here and I feel a headache coming on."

The gaurd nods, "Try to be quick."

"Sure thing." Thomas says as he pushes the door open.

You follow him out into the summer air. Clouds surround the studio. It feels like the sky is always gray here. The two of you lean against the brick wall of the building.

"Looks like rain." Thomas mutters.

"It always looks like rain here." You reply.

Thomas shrugs and looks over at you. Just staring.

He stands up straight and holds his arm out, "Shall we go for a walk."

You nod and slip your hand on his arm, "Indeed."

You step forward and walk around the studio grounds in silence for a few minutes.

"Can I ask you a question?" Thomas asks.
