Bruno chuckled then and nodded. “Okay. Elsa. Right. Elsa, I want to apologize for our two unpleasant encounters. Both at the Callahan co-operation, and at the unfinished building. I am so sorry.

“Regardless of my motives at that time, I should have never put my hands on you. I should have never choked you, I should have never caused you harm in any kind of way. I want you to know that I am sorry for putting my hands on you and I need you to forgive me for that, okay?”

Elsa saw how sincere he was being with his words. And then, she thought of something.

She knew Lui could help her with this too, but Bruno had the connection Jeremy had which would make this easier for him.

“Well, It takes a big man to admit that he is wrong,” she said  while shrugging.

She then sat up on the bed with Bruno’s help before she could continue talking.

“You don’t have to feel guilty about the previous incident. Someone did get hurt, but it wasn’t me. It was a little friend who followed me there and decided to free me after you left.”

“The blood I saw on the floor. And the blood on your dress, it was not yours?”

“No it wasn't. When this friend of mine got into the house to help me, this friend got hurt. So I was only covered with blood because of taking my friend to the hospital after this friend uncuffed me.”

Bruno nodded understanding. But despite Elsa saying she wasn’t the one who got hurt, Bruno still felt guilty. She still could have been the one who got hurt though.

“Still, that friend wouldn’t have been hurt if I didn’t put you in that situation. So, I’m going to still ask for your forgiveness.”

Elsa smiled at his persistence and was glad he was taking responsibility.

“Okay. I after saving my life today, I guess you can earned a fraction of my forgiveness.”

Bruno looked at her with interest. “Just a fraction?” he asked.

Elsa shrugged. “Or do you want the full pie?” Elsa replied with a question.

Bruno nodded qhickly. “Yes, please.”

Elsa laughed a little. “Then do this favor for me, and I will not hold any grudges against you.” she said to him.

Bruno had jumped into the water in that cliff without and swam with Elsa to the shores. He had saved her life. If it wasn’t for him, she would have drowned.

But she needed him to do something for her. Taking advantage of the guilt he was feeling at that moment may not be a nice thing to do, but Elsa felt like Bruno could be the one to help her at this moment.
