Your POV:
Joel has definitely been more of a father now than he was before. He's got a girlfriend now. I'm not jealous, I'm happy for him but he's hardly here to help me. I've decided that Riley should take my last name instead of Joels. Don't ask why I just wanted her to have mine. She's now 8 months which has gone by fast. I love my baby girl.

Throughout my pregnancy and the months of being a single mum Mouse has been spending a lot of time with me and Riley. I love his company and his positivity. He was there when Joel wasn't. He came right to the hospital after I gave birth and stayed with me for hours. The doctors and nurses even thought he was the dad. Mouse is just a great guy.

Mouse's POV:
I arrived at work getting greeted by everyone who was working today. Y/n was at home with Riley. I was on tower duty for the day. It was quiet in the tower. "Hey mate." Joel said walking into the tower taking a seat next to me. "Hey." I replied looking out of my binoculars. "So you and y/n hey." Joel replied. "Umm we're not together." I told him. "But you spend a lot of time with her and my daughter." He said. "Look I'm helping y/n with everything that you seem to not be doing or even trying for that matter of fact. You promised the other day you'll come over to spend sometime with Riley but you never showed up. Y/n was so upset and angry with you. Joel Riley needs you in her life but you're clearly not wanting to be in her life. You said to y/n you wanted to be in her life but maybe she was right about it all." I explained to him. He had his head in his hands. "Now that made you think about things." I said and carried on looking out of my binoculars. Joel never said a word. He got up and left the tower. Genuinely I thought he would've stepped up when he said he wanted to be in Riley's life but he obviously doesn't want that if he's not seeing her.

Your POV:
Mouse has been staying over a lot recently. I'm not complaining though. We've been hanging out a lot too. He's part of the family now and I'm glad I have him with me.

I woke up to the smell of food. I got out of the bed picking up Mouse's shirt which fitted me perfectly and was about half-way down my thigh. Mouse must've been in the kitchen. I walked out of the room and went into Riley's room. She was laying there awake and smiled as I entered the room. "Hey, beautiful girl!" I exclaimed, picking her up, giving her a big hug and multiple kisses before changing her nappy (diaper if you call it that). Once I finished changing her I made my way into the kitchen with Riley clinging to my side. Mouse was standing there with only his shorts on which hung low on his waist showing his Calvin Klein's off a little. What a sight?! I walked over coming up behind him. I pressed my lips to his shoulder making him tense up a little. "Morning." I mumbled. "Morning to you too." Mouse said smiling. I placed Riley in her little seat that was on the table and ready for her to sit down on. Once she was sat in the chair of hers, I went over to Mouse wrapping my arms around his waist from kissing his back every so often. He stopped cooking and dishes up our breakfast. I fed Riley some of mine (only little bits of it).

Mouse began to wash up for us as I got Riley all cleaned up. I placed her in her baby bouncer while we cleaned up. I pulled myself up onto the counter top and as Mouse finished he walked between my legs. We smiled down at one another. "Dada!" We heard Riley say pointing at Mouse...

A/n: 🤭 so Riley thinks Mouse is "dada"... so this was the other ending what could've happened?! This is meant to be a surprise for the readers instead of them giving me the idea. I actually got the idea off of my sister as she reads this book but the whole point of these parts is surprising you with what could possibly happen.
