Chappo - Movie

Niamh's POV:
There's this guy that I like but he has a girlfriend. We've been friends for years. Sometimes I think of what it's like to fall in love with your best friend and I for sure know how it feels cause I'm right there now. Anyways here's to another day of being ok the beach with a guy I love which it's never gonna happen between us.

Chappo walked right into the tower coming straight over to me giving me a hug. He recently broke up with his girlfriend. I know he's sad about it but he's trying to be happy. "You're looking good today Niamh." Chappo said with a smile. "Chris its just my normal lifeguard uniform." I told him. "But you're looking really good today." He said making me blush. "You're making me blush." I told him. He smirked. We've always been like this. It's typical for us. Chappo gave me a side hug and carried on with his day.

Chappo's POV:
I may seem like myself but I've recently split with my girlfriend. Well now ex girlfriend. I loved her I really did but we both agreed that it wasn't really working out. When I see Niamh she makes me feel so much better. I think I like her though. That's the thing. I think me and my ex just didn't feel that connection anymore and our feelings for one another were crossed. Niamh and I have been friends for years so we've grown up with one another. I hear it a lot that people fall in love with their best friend and I think that's what's happening to me. I think I love her. Is it too soon to love someone new? Who knows?

Today was a new day. There were loads of rescues to do and medicals to attend to. It was a busy day. Soon the day came to an end and a few of us were chilling in the tower. I walked in getting greeted by some of the guys. "Here he is!" Whippet said. I was so confused. "What's going on?" I asked taking a seat. "You and Niamh seem to be getting quite close." Jethro said. "We're just friends guys." I told them. "Yeah. Yeah. We all know how that turns out." Joel said making us all laugh. "Guys I recently broke up with my girlfriend well now ex girlfriend a week ago." I told them. They kept quiet from then.

I heard footsteps coming into the tower. "What's up boys?!" Niamh said. I looked over at her smiling like crazy. "Nothing much just asking Chappo what he's doing later." Jethro said. That was so not true. I gave him a weird look. "I think he's going on a date with you tonight." Whippet said patting my shoulder before him, Jethro and Joel left the tower. Niamh smirked. "A date?" She said. "I umm yeah apparently so." I said laughing. "Well, do you want to come round for a movie tonight?" Niamh asked. "If it means spending time with you then of course I would." I told her making her smile. "I'll see you at 7 then." She said winking and smirking before leaving for the evening. She's such a great person.

Niamh's POV:
Chappo came around mine for the evening to watch a movie together. We haven't had one of these evenings in ages. We put y/f/m (your favourite movie) on and sat on the sofa with snacks and drinks. Chappo sat back and opened his arms for me to sit in.

The movie went on and we both enjoyed each other's company. Soon the movie finished but I didn't want this moment to end. "I-I love you." I heard Chris say. I sat up from being in his arms. "You love me?" I asked in shock. "I shouldn't of said that. I'm sorry." He said getting up off of the couch and heading towards the door. "I love you too." I said as he placed his hand on the door handle. I stood up walking towards him. "Are you sure? Or are you just saying that because I said it?" He asked seriously. I looked into his eyes. "Chris. I've liked you for months but never said anything because you were still with Sarah." (a/n: random name for his ex, sorry).

Chappo held my hands pulling me close. "I've always loved you." He muttered leaning in. I leaned in and our lips touched. Something magical happened.
