Luke - rest of my life

Your POV:
Luke and I have been together for nearly 6 months. We haven't even said I love you yet but I guess it depends on when you want to say it. It's crossed my mind a few times but I've never had the courage to say it.

It was a new day and I woke up with a smile on my face. "Today's going to be the day." I whispered to myself. "What's going to be today?" I heard Luke say. I turned around seeing him propped up by his elbow. He smirked. "You're looking cute today." He said making me blush. "I've literally just woke up babe. You call this cute." I said showing my 'just got up look'. Luke laughed. Luke got up and we both got ready for the day.

We both were sat on the sofa on our phones, talking and having a laugh. It's been crossing my mind all day. Luke placed his phone down taking mine out of my hands placing it near his. He wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me on top of him. We smiled. This boy gets me. "I love you." I said out of the blue as he kissed me. "You what?" Luke asked with a smile. "I-I love you." I repeat. Luke smiles intensely. I giggled. "What?" He asked smirking at me.

Luke hasn't told me he loves me yet. I managed to say it and he was happy like really happy. It's been a few days since I told him. I mean I am a little sad that he didn't say it back but maybe he wasn't ready which I understand.

I walked out of the bedroom. "Hey baby?" Luke called. "Yes?" I replied. "I LOVE YOU!" He shouted across the house. My heart skipped a beat. "Really?" I asked. "Yeah." He said walking towards me. I giggled. "What was that?" He smirked at me. "Well no one has ever said that to me before." I told him smiling up at him. "I hope I keep saying that to you for the rest of my life." Luke said biting down on his lip. I leaned over and kissed him passionately but slowly. I felt Luke smile into the kiss. "I love your kisses." He said kissing me deeper.
