Jackson - daddy

Your POV:
Me and my boyfriend, Jackson have a 1 year old son. He's walking around like there's no tomorrow but hasn't said his first proper word yet. We're hopping he does soon. Jace Parker Doolan is what we named our son. He's the love of my life and means everything to me.

Today I planned on taking Jace down to the beach. Jackson was working so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity for Jace to see his daddy in action. The bedroom door opened and in walked Jackson with Jace in his arms. "Look it's mummy." Jackson said making Jace lean out of his arms and towards me. I took him from Jackson hugging him. "Morning baby." I said kissing his cheek. He squealed. Jackson handed me Jace's bottle and I began to feed Jace.

Jackson slowly got ready for the day. "How are you this morning my love?" I asked. "Good. Much better because I get to wake up to the two most people I love in this world." He said making me blush. "Well Jace and I love you both very much." I said finishing Jace up with his bottle. Once that was all done Jackson was soon ready to head to work. "I'll see you two later." He said kissing me slowly after. "And you little man I'll see you later too. Be good for mummy." He told Jace making him all smiley. I smiled. "See you later." Jackson said leaving the house. "Let's get you down for a nap hey." I said picking Jace up and getting him ready for his nap.

2 hours later Jace and I headed down to the beach. We found a spot to stay on and spent sometime playing with the beach toys that I bought with me. Jace wanted cuddles so I placed him in my lap. I noticed Jackson. "Look who's over there Jace?" I said to Jace who flapped his tiny arms up and down while giggling in the process. He's a cutie. "Say hi to daddy." I said and he clapped his arms around again. "Daddy!" Jace said in baby talk. "Oh my days! Clever boy!" I said hugging him tightly. Jackson headed up to the tower so I wanted to tell him about what Jace just said.

I walked up to the tower to go find Jackson. I knocked on the door. "Hey is Jackson around?" I asked Deano. "I'm right here." Jackson said as he walked out in view. I handed Jace over to Jackson letting them have a little time with one another. "Jace can you tell daddy what you said?" I asked him. "Daddy!" He said flapping his arms again. Jackson's face lit up. "His first word." Jackson said nearly crying. "I'm so proud of you baby boy." He said to Jace as he held him. The perfect father and son duo around.
