Jesse - Rat

Your POV:
Jesse, Jethro, Gonzo, Jacko and I were all in the tower as we were on tower duty or just wanted to sit in the tower. A call came in needing our assistance. Gonzo turned around to us. "Can two of you go up to the skater bowl and get the rat out of it please?" He asked. "A rat?" I asked. "Yes y/n a rat." Gonzo said. "No I am not doing that! One of you can." I said moving behind Jethro. They laughed. "Come on babe lets both go." Jesse said. I sighed. "Fine." I replied leaving the tower and Jesse grabbed a jacket.

Jesse and I made our way up to the skater bowl to rescue a rat. Odd. I know. There were a lot of people gathering around the bowl. "If it's not too vicious we'll throw on a pair of gloves and catch it like that but if not we have another plan." Jesse said holding some gloves. "Well I'm not catching it you can." I said with a chuckle. "Even the cops are here." I told him but they weren't doing anything. We approached the skater bowl and the cops walked to us. "I'm not touching it." One of them said. Surly one of the would've. "Do it for the team babe." I said to Jesse as he grabbed a bucket and slid down into the bowl. He had no shoes on as well. That's just plain old Jesse doing stupid things. I thought to myself.

Jesse's POV:
Of course I went into the bowl without shoes on. I held the bucket beneath the rat and it slid right in. Bargain. "How hard was that?" I said but spoke too soon. As I lifted the bucket up the rat flew out nearly hitting me in the face making everyone burst into fits of laughter. I fell back and stopped my fall with my hands. I never thought rats were that viscous.

Your POV:
The rat ran away further up the bowl but when Jesse got close to it again it jumped up at him making Jesse jump away slightly. Soon the rat fell back into the bucket and Jesse quickly placed the jacket he has on over the open top so the rat doesn't jump out again. Jesse got out of the bowl with the rat still in the bucket and the rat got out running off. I laughed. What an event?! "As if I'll use my own jacket." He said walking back towards us. "Oh god who's jacket did you use?" I asked. "Umm Chappo's I think." He said with a laugh. Jesse placed his hands either side of my hips. "You did a good job out there." I said looking up at him. "Thank you." He smiled kissing my cheeks. "My hero." I whispered as we both walked back to the rhino and to the tower for the rest of our shift.
