Chapter 16

Two days have passed since the U.A Sports festival. The sky was grey as it rained. Kuuga is seen walking into U.A's gate, holding a black umbrella and a phone, when he sees the news about the Engine Hero: Ingenium, attacked by The Hero Killer in Hosu.

Kuuga: (mutters) "This Hero Killer has been on the news lately."

Running sounds are heard as Iida runs past him, wearing a full green rain gear, followed by Izuku, who is holding an umbrella.

Iida: "Kiriu! What are you doing?! You're going to be late!"

Kuuga shrugs as he continues his casual pace, putting his Umbrella in the Class A spot and proceeding to his classroom.

Ashido: "It's different when they broadcast the matches on TV after all, huh? So many people talked to me on my way here!"

Kirishima: "Yeah, me too! What about you, Kiriu?"

Kuuga: "Yeah, mostly asking to have a picture with me."

A short flashback is seen with multiple girls approaching him in the train station, asking for a picture, which he tries to refuse but was forced to do so since many people were watching.

Kuuga: (sweat drops) "And it's a nightmare…"

Kuuga walks to his desk and sits down, greeting Jiro, who is hanging out with Yaoyorozu.

Kuuga: "Morning, damn Earphone jack."

Jiro responds by poking his arm with her earphones, making Kuuga wince in pain while she giggles.

Hagakure: "People were staring at me, too! It was kind of embarrassing!"

Ojiro: "Isn't that normal for you, Hagakure?"

Sero: "I had some elementary schoolers suddenly tell me "Don't Worry about it"."

Tsuyu: "Don't worry about it!"

Sero began to scream in frustration.

Kaminari: "After just one day, we've suddenly been thrust into the spotlight, huh?"

Mineta: "U.A really is amazing!"

Kuuga calls out to the grape head with his monotone voice.

Kuuga: (deadpans) "I thought you wanted the festival cancelled? Now you're all excited after it happened."

Mineta: "I-Im sorry!"

Kuuga shrugs and plants his face into his desk. The door opens as Aizawa enters the classroom, making everyone take their seat in a flash.

Aizawa: "Morning."

Everyone: "Good morning!"

Tsuyu: "Kero? Mr. Aizawa, your bandages are gone. I'm glad."

Aizawa: "The old lady went overboard with her treatment. More importantly, we're having a special hero informatics class today."

Everyone: (mentally) "Here it is!"

Kaminari: (mentally) "Special? Is it a quiz? I hope not…"

Kirishima: (mentally) "I'm bad at laws relating to heroes and stuff like that…"

Aizawa: "Code names. You'll be coming up with hero names."

The class began to cheer.

Everyone: "We're gonna do something exciting!"

Kuuga: (yawns) "What's going on?"

Aizawa activated his quirk, silencing everyone.

Aizawa: "This is related to the pro hero draft picks I mentioned the other day. The drafts begin in earnest in the second and third years, after students gained experience and can become immediate assets to the pros. In other words, for them to extend offers to first years like you shows that they are interested in your future potential. These offers are often cancelled if that interest dies down by graduation."
