Chapter 73

The scene opens to Present Mic filing some papers inside the faculty room of U.A. The sound of heels are heard approaching him as he looks up.

Present Mic: "Huh?"

The scene changes to a different view, now showing Arcane standing before him with a stern face.

Present Mic: "Arcane! What are you doing here?"

Arcane: "Hello, Mic. I'm here to pick you and Eraser up. Something very important."

The scene changes inside the classroom of Class 1-A with Iida and Yaoyorozu standing in front of the room.

Iida: "Class! Happy New Year!"

Yaoyorozu bows.

Yaoyorozu: "Happy New Year."

Iida: "Today's class will be a practical briefing session. We'll share our accomplishments, challenges, etc. from over winter break. So, everyone. Suit up, and head over to Ground Alpha!"

The classroom door suddenly opens, revealing Aizawa still holding his yellow sleeping bag.

Aizawa: "Hey! Quit chatting, and-"

His students suddenly run past him, carrying their hero suitcases.

Ashido: "Happy New Year, Mr. Aizawa!"

Iida: "I've finished telling them about today, as you requested this morning."

Aizawa: "Oh."

Kaminari, Sero, Kuuga, and Sayo walk past them.

Kaminari: "You're really in the zone, Iida."

Sayo: "He's even more active! Cute!"

Iida: "Yeah. Manual, the hero at my work study, is a leader in Hosu. It was just one week, but I learned: How to be gentle in manner. Yeah! That's the way!"

Kaminari: "So much for the zone. He's like a bike where the chain keeps coming off."

Sero: "Wouldn't Iida be a motorcycle? He's got engines."

Kuuga: "That's a fair point."

Aizawa watches the class walk away into the hallway as the P.A. gives a ringing sound.

P.A.: "Mr. Aizawa. Please come immediately to the staff room."

The scene changes into the girls locker room with all of them changing into their hero costumes.

Ashido: "Oh? Ochaco, you changed your costume! It looks good!"

Yaoyorozu: "Yes, it looks very good on you."

Sayo: "Very cute!"

Uraraka: "I'm glad!"

Jiro brings out a component of Uraraka's hero costume.

Jiro: "Here's a new Urarakawrist. And it's heavy!"

Uraraka: "There's wire inside. Thanks to my Quirk, the heaviness is no handicap. The case is heavy, though."

Ashido: "What's in here?"

Ashido picks up a different component where a plush keychain of All Might falls out, surprising Uraraka. The girls look at the floor and see the item.

Jiro: "Is that…"

Annya: "That's an All Might keychain, I think."

Uraraka slides towards the item and hides it from everyone.
