Few more weeks of preparations for the school festival followed. The scene changes to night time in Gym Gamma with class 1-A almost finishing up their preparations. The effects team are seen watching the rest of the class on the stage.

Kuuga: "Everything seems to be checked out with our plan. We should check one more time just to make sure."

Kirishima: "Yeah!"

Kirishima: "The gym's closing soon! Let's do a final check and one last run-through!"

Sayo: (grins) "Let's go, one more time!"

Ashido claps, getting the dance team's attention.

Ashido: "Here we go!"

Annya, Ojiro, Hagakure, Iida, Izuku, and Mineta are seen slowly dancing side by side.

Ashido: "Tap, tap, two! Tap, tap, two! Up! Then, Aoyama, center. Midoriya, run offstage."

Aoyama: "Oui!"

Izuku: "Roger!"

Ashido: "Midoriya! Your movements are still too half-hearted! Focus your attention on the moves!"

Izuku: "Roger!"

Sero: "Before we started, I was worried we'd seem amateurish, but the band and dance teams are both better than amateur level, huh? Ashido is an unexpectedly mean coach, too."

Kirishima: "Yeah. Because she likes dancing, she can really be serious about it, huh? The band team weren't the only ones who got stirred up by those words. Kiriu seems to be a great music teacher alongside Jiro."

Kuuga: "I want everything to be perfect. Especially the music. Attracting visuals is cool and all, but it can only get us so far if we only focus on that, everything shouldn't clash…"

As he speaks, he is seen looking at Jiro, who is discussing some things with the band.

Kuuga: "Because if you think about it, we want to ease the stress of everyone in U.A., but that's not the only goal… we want Eri to smile…"

Kirishima: "Now that you mentioned it, we haven't seen you smile once, Kiriu."

Sero: "I just realized that as well."

Kuuga continues to look at Jiro.

Kuuga: "I'm long gone. I don't know if I can be saved from that fate anymore… but let's not get concerned about me. What matters is others shouldn't end up like me. Sacrifice a smile for everyone's smile. Maybe that's who I am."
