A black void surrounds the readers as two glowing purple orbs are seen floating inside the void.
Kuuga: (narrating) "I am Kuuga Kiriu, Hero name: Zero, a first year student in the hero course of U.A. High School. Generations after generations are raised believing heroes are the living fairy tales… living the dream… saving everyone with a smile and always being perfect… But I wasn't raised like that. The scene opens up with Class 1-A in their comfortable attire.
Class 1-A: "A newspaper?"
Aizawa: "Yeah. A newspaper wants to do a feature on you all."
Uraraka: "Isn't that amazing, Deku?"
Uraraka leans towards him.
Izuku: (blushes) "Y-Yeah… (mentally) "Sh-She's so close…!"
Kaminari: "It's kind of embarrassing."
Kuuga: "I really don't care right now… I'm still making breakfast, I don't want to burn the food again..."
Kirishima: "Why?"
Ojiro: "The sports festival was broadcast around the country, right?"
Hagakure: "Mina, Sayo, we'll be in the paper! We've gotta look our best!"
Ashido: "Yeah!"
Sayo: "Of course!"
