The scene opens up to a tired Sayo walking towards an actor's chair and slumping down on it beside Kuuga and Annya, who are sitting like offline robots.

Sayo: "Ugh! Where has CrescentRWBY gone?! He said he's just going out to buy milk!"

Annya: "I believe he did."

Sayo: "But it's almost been a month since he left us here! Is it almost? Or is it a month now? Maybe more?"

Kuuga: "Will you shut up? It's been around a month, I think."

Sayo: "That's concerning! And unfair! And… yeah, unfair…"

Annya: "How so?"

Sayo points accusingly at Kuuga.

Sayo: "His ship is already sailing!"

Kuuga: (sighs) "It took like 4 seasons, it was a good strategy, (raises script) I think."

Sayo points at Annya.

Sayo: "Your ship is already sailing as well!"

Annya: "Oh, it is? Crescent hasn't confirmed it."

Sayo: "What?! How?!"

Annya: "I don't know, Sayo, but maybe he's going to do a family drama between Suicho."

A small amethyst crystal suddenly hits the side of Annya's head.

Murasaki: (unseen) "Shut up and don't say my name, weirdo!"

Sayo: "Everyone's still acting like they are in the story while we're on break…"

Annya: "It is, or maybe…"

After a moment of wondering, she suddenly gasps.

Annya: (quickly) "Oh, no. What if we're not acting in the story and those are our actual attitudes? Are we living in an illusion? Are we being controlled? Will Shoto play with someone like me in bed if I have this attitude? No… What if…"

Sayo begins shaking Annya by both shoulders.

Sayo: (tearing up) "Stop! You're doing it again!"

An unidentified man wearing a white cloak, covering his face, enters the scene, running while his back is on fire. A label is seen on his chest, saying: "Author of Zero".

CrescentRWBY: "Sorry I disappeared! I had one hell of a battle!"

Kuuga: "Oh, like playing your guitar? Playing Genshin Impact the whole day for a long time? You forgot about us."

CrescentRWBY: "But-"

Kuuga: "No. You kept me waiting for that long. I will remember this betrayal."
