"Get on," Jungkook urged.

"I. . ."

Jungkook turned his face back and Lalisa immediately climbed onto his back when she saw his expression.

It was so scary! Lalisa didn't know that Jungkook's expression could be much more scary, but he just didn't show it to her.

Jungkook stood up and continued walking. The trail seemed to go on forever, and they were surrounded by tall trees on both sides.

Jungkook had a nice and refreshing mint scent on his body, and it made Lalisa feel relaxed. She tried to stay alert but her fatigue took over.

Lalisa rested her head onto his broad shoulder and closed her eyes.

Jungkook realized that the woman on his back had fallen asleep, so he began walking slower, trying to keep a steady pace.

His soft lips stretched into a rare smile, and his eyes shined like the stars in the sky. Even the slowly setting sun couldn't dim them.

He hadn't smiled so genuinely in a long time, but Jungkook liked this new feeling of happiness. He didn't want it to go away, he didn't want her to go away.

The small body moved around a little, searching for the most comfortable position. Her body pressed against his, light and soft like a cloud.

Jungkook had walked a mile already when Lalisa woke up. She looked around and was surprised at what she saw.

The tall and ugly trees had turned into a beautiful scenery of flowers. They were on a wooden bridge right now, and there were flowers all around them.

"It's beautiful. . ." Lay couldn't help but exclaim. A gentle breeze flew by, and the flowers danced in the wind.

"You're awake."

Lalisa had completely forgotten about the possibility that Jungkook was trying to throw her away, and all her attention was on the beautiful flowers now.

"Let me down."

Jungkook bent down slightly and allowed Lalisa to jump down onto the bridge.

"Can you take a picture of me?" Lalisa said as she handed her phone over to Jungkook. She jumped up onto the railing of the bridge and sat on it, swinging her legs around.

Jungkook opened up the camera and looked at the woman on the screen. So beautiful. . .

"Did you take it yet?" Lalisa asked after several seconds, pulling Jungkook back to reality. He quickly took a photo and handed the phone back to Lalisa.

"Your photo taking skills suck!" Lalisa commented, "The lighting is so dark and the angle makes my legs look so short."

Jungkook cleared his throat and didn't reply. Looks like step 1 on getting a wife was to start studying how to take good photos!

"Let's keep going." Jungkook bent down again so Lalisa could climb on. However, Lalisa shook her head and walked forward.

"It's okay, I can walk."

The flower pasture also ended when the bridge did, and it turned into trees again.

"Did I miss any other pretty places?" Lalisa asked, kind of disappointed to see the boring trees again.

"There was a waterfall when you fell asleep." Jungkook looked down at the girl next to him and smiled. She was no longer afraid anymore and seemed to be very energetic and excited right now as she skipped down the trail.

Jungkook was almost 180 centimeters(179 centimetres to be exact), so his long legs allowed him to keep up with Lalisa even though she was skipping. He walked a few feet behind her, and his expression was even more gentle than the breeze blowing by.

They walked like that for a few more minutes, and Lalisa had stopped skipping because it was getting tiring.

"How long is this -" The trees suddenly came to an end as Lalisa and Jungkook stepped out of the shadows.

Jungkook realized that they were on a mountain as they reached the edge of the cliff. Below them, the hundreds of green trees stood tall and firm, lining the hills and edges of the landscape around them.

The sun was beginning to set, the rich hues of red blended with orange, purple, crimson. It was the sign of an ending day, but also the promise of the rising sun that comes after the dark night ends.

There was hope again. Hope for a new day and hope for her.

To the right, there was a slow trickle of water from a waterfall, and all of the water drained into a small lake a few hundred feet below where they were standing.

"Do you like it?" Jungkook asked nervously. He took a big risk to plan this date because he was afraid Lisa wouldn't like it.

They walked for a long time and it was tiring. He didn't know if it was a good decision or not.

"I love it. . ." Lalisa turned around to look at Jungkook, "Where is this? I never knew Country Z had a place like this!"

Jungkook let out a breath of relief and took a step forward, "This is yours."

Lalisa turned to look at Jungkook with confusion in her eyes.

"I bought this entire trail and also the lake down there. You can name it."

Lalisa's mouth opened from surprise and happiness as she looked at the sparkling lake below them, "Springborn Lake." *

Jungkook nodded his head. His wifey was very smart!

"Why? Why are you giving this to me?" Lalisa asked. For some reason, she had a feeling that their relationship was more completed than a deal.

If Jungkook chose to date her because of his rumors, shouldn't he reveal their relationship to the public? And why did he insist on going on dates with her and giving her stuff when their relationship was completely fake?

'Because I love you,' he thought.Jungkook's eyebrows slightly knit together, "Just as a first date gift."

Lalisa nodded her head slowly and looked away. Although the Kim Corporation was also considered a pretty decent business, it couldn't even compare with the Jeon Corporation and the Jeon family's business empire.

Lalisa was considered as the upper class in society, but in front of Jungkook, she was merely a nobody, a humble peasant.

Buying a whole trail and a gigantic lake just for their first date?! For normal people, the cost of this gift is more than all the money they will ever earn in a lifetime.

"It's getting late. Do you want to go back?" Jungkook noticed He Xinyan's weird expression and was a little disappointed.

Did she not like his gift? Was it not grand enough? Should he buy a country for her next time? Hm. . . that sounds like a good idea.

*Author's note: Wow. . . Am I the only one that doesn't understand CEO Jeon's thoughts. . . Maybe my IQ is just too low for him!

"Okay! Thank you for taking me here. It's really refreshing." She had two more days of tests and then it was graduation day. Lalisa never got the opportunity to appreciate nature in her past, so she genuinely enjoyed this trip.

In her past life, Sehun was her world, her everything. She didn't care about anything else, so there was also no way she spent her precious time in nature.

In this life, she was going to live every day, every second to its fullest. It was time to live for herself!
