Five: Thirty Two Am

Today I lost words
Then found you...

This I'll hold onto
Until forever
Though you're small;
You character and voice
Pave the way
Like a blade carving skin

This I write for me
I've made up my mind

I'm now ending the previous story
So another book can open
To a fresh page

Today I lost words
Then found myself grinning
Skimming the clouds
As I rolled slowly
Licked then tucked
Lit then puffed

A ray of smoke poured out
I inhaled; then my eyes shut
I'm elevated by you
This sentiment I'll hold onto
Until eternity
I found myself tracing over your skin
Like pen does paper

Slicing and dicing
Pouring your contents into the trash
Then filling you up
With that fire
I'm a picture of black and grey

A hit of you
Sends rainbows jolting
Across my skies
A true burst of color in disguise
