Kazuki and Ricka walked down the snowstorm path.

Kazuki: So, where is this underground exactly?

Ricka: Don't know. Keep looking.

They've been looking around for a while now, and yet they can't seem to find any clues regarding the city.

They walk this time on an unfamiliar path towards the forest.

They leave footsteps as they walk through the thick snow.

As they progress, the snow is getting thicker and thicker.

Kazuki: It's getting harder and harder to move.

Ricka: Yeah...

Then, Kazuki thought of something.

He took out his Kamuy and summoned his energy, performing the Homura slash through the snow. And as the blade hits the snow, it instantly melted.

After a few minutes, they came upon a path with lesser snow. 

Kazuki: This feels weird.

They looked at the path ahead and felt a feeling of dread. It's like someone, or rather, something, was on this path not long ago. 

Ricka unconsciously held Kazuki's hand, a response to her nervousness.

Kazuki: R-Ricka?

Ricka: S-Scared.

He saw that Ricka was trembling. 

Kazuki: Oh,

He held her hands tighter and pulled her closer.

Kazuki: I'll protect you, so do not worry.

He smiled reassuringly, somewhat ceasing the nervousness in Ricka's chest.

With their hands in contact, they walked towards the eerie path of snow. 

As they got deeper and deeper, they noticed that it was also getting darker and darker. 

Another thing to notice is that the leaves of the trees approaching are getting blacker and blacker, and the snow wind is getting stronger and stronger.

Kazuki: I-It's getting colder and colder, ugh...
